A traffic stop in the 200 block of South East Street Tuesday evening has led to probation violations and new charges for a Bucyrus woman.

Heather L. Hunt, 26, was arrested for possession of drugs when she was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Tasia Myers, who was issued a citation for driving under suspension.

Hunt appeared in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Thursday to face probation violations. She is accused of possessing a schedule II controlled substance on Jan. 19 during the traffic stop but her charges do not stop there.

Not only did Hunt refuse a drug screen on Jan. 20 but it was discovered that she had 75 doses of heroin on her person at the Crawford County Justice Center.

While Hunt has denied the allegation against her, new charges of the illegal conveyance of drugs into a detention facility and possession of drugs are pending.

Judge Sean Leuthold set bond for Hunt in the amount of $250,000.

Hunt was convicted of possession of drugs, both fifth-degree felonies, in 2010 and 2012 and was placed on community control.
