CRAWFORD COUNTY — Crawford County Job & Family Services announces the availability of special one-time funding received from the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services to support our local TANF-PRC Program. This funding is made available to Ohio through The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to assist needy families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The funds will be used to operate a “Back 2 School Wear” Program for eligible Crawford County children in grades K-12 who attend school in-person. A limited selection of new t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and gym shorts will be provided to eligible families. School logos will be optional.

Application deadline is June 24, 2022 but application period may end early if funds become fully obligated. Applications can be picked up at Crawford County Job & Family Services, 224 Norton Way or 225 E. Mary St. Bucyrus, printed off from https://crawfordcountyjfs.org/prc-net-transportation/ or picked up at either the Galion Public Library or Crestline Public Library. Income guidelines are listed on the application and can also be viewed on our website. To request an application be mailed or to ask questions, call 419-562-8066. Clothing orders for approved applications are expected to be delivered in August prior to the start of the 2022-2023 school year.
