Nan Whaley, who is seeking the Democratic nomination for governor, will be in Crestline this afternoon. She will visit Mi Cerrito, 216 N. Seltzer St. at 2 p.m.
The Indiana native attended the University of Dayton and became the first person in her family to graduate from college. During her two terms as mayor of Dayton, Whaley dealt with crises ranging from a series of tornadoes to a mass shooting that left nine people dead.
Her opponent in the Democratic primary is John Cranley, the former mayor of Cincinnati.
