8:30am Officers investigated a report of a suspicious person in the 300 block of E. Charles. The subject had left the area.

9:17am Officers investigated a report of two subjects wanted on warrants in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St.

9:51am A welfare check was done on a man in the 1600 block of Marion Rd.

10:00am A resident in the 900 block of Failor St. reported money missing from her home.

10:14am A resident in the 900 block of Sherman St. reported credit card theft.

11:09am Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout in the 1300 block of Whetstone St.

1:17pm A resident in the 600 block of Hopley Ave. reported a temporary tag missing from a vehicle.

1:18pm Officers assisted with a residential lockout in the 300 block of Short St.

1:19pm A report of a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Hill St. was investigated.

1:40pm Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout in the 600 block of W. Perry St.

1:50pm Traffic stop in the 800 block of E. Mansfield St. and Carrie Payne, 41, Bucyrus, was arrested for possession of drugs.

2:41pm Officers investigated a report of a possible shoplifter at Kroger. It was unfounded.

3:07pm A report of a vehicle blocking traffic on Prospect St. was reported and the truck moved after completing its work.

3:10pm A false alarm was investigated at Kentucky Fried Chicken.

3:23pm A two vehicle crash was reported in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Av. and a citation was issued.

4:05pm Officers assisted with an injured animal on Isaac Beal Rd.

4:28pm Officers responded to a fight in the 500 block of Spring St. One individual was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released pending a court date.

4:46pm A syringe found in the 300 block of Lawn Av. was turned over to officers and disposed of.

5:43pm A hand held scanner found at Walmart was turned in to the police department.

5:51pm Charles Frazier, 45, was arrested in the 300 block of Lawn Av. on Crawford County warrants. He was given a court date to appear. One income tax summons was also served.

5:58pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 500 block of E. Rensselaer St.

6:03pm A parking citation was issued in the 1200 block of Robinhood Dr.

6:20pm A false alarm was investigated in the 1600 block of Marion Rd.

7:42pm A report of trespassing was taken on Hopley Av.

9:59pm A report of a suspicious vehicle was investigated in the area of Hopley and Southern Av.

10:50pm Officers responded to a verbal domestic dispute in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St. Jeremy Butler, 27, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a court date to appear and released.

10:59pm Officers took a report of four vehicles being vandalized in the 200 block of E. Beal Av.

11:14pm A disturbance was reported in the 100 block of N. Walnut St.

12:14am A traffic warning was issued in the 100 block of W. Charles St.

12:57am A traffic warning was issued on N. Lane St.

2:07am A traffic warning was issued on E. Mansfield St.

2:41am A traffic warning was issued on W. Southern Ave.

6:46am Jeremy Schaffer, 33, was arrested in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield St. and charged with possession of drugs. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.

9:44am Officers picked up suspected drugs in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield St.

10:27am Officers took a hit-skip accident report in the area of Woodbine Apts. The suspect vehicle was located on Hopley Ave.

11:43am A welfare check was made in the 1000 block of Hopley Ave.

11:44am A report of a possibly neglected dog in the 1000 block of Wingert St. was investigated. The dog was found to be cared for.

12:26pm An employee of Bob Evans reported an attempted break in to the business overnight. No entry was gained.

12:58pm A false alarm was received from the 1600 block of Marion Rd.

1:12pm A report of a suspicious person in the area of Hayes Ave. was investigated. He was found to be a properly permitted solicitor.

1:19pm A S. Walnut St. resident reported a package that was delivered by UPS was taken from her front porch on Wednesday.

1:32pm A false alarm was received from the 700 block of Gay St.

1:47pm A resident in the 200 block of Songer Avenue reported his son being unruly.

2:08pm Ryan Nicholas, 23, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a court date and released.

2:08pm Five income tax summons were served at the Police Department.

2:25pm A one vehicle accident at Aumiller Park at the river ford was investigated. The driver lost control crossing the river and her vehicle rolled on its side. BFD and a local tow service assisted.

2:49pm A false alarm at Peoples Savings & Loan was investigated.

4:55pm Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 600 block of N. Lane Street.

5:07pm A report of an intoxicated driver in the area of 200 block of N. Sandusky Ave. was checked.

5:09pm A report of a suspicious vehicle parked behind the shopping complex on Hopley Avenue was unfounded, it had moved.

5:19pm A false alarm in the 1500 block of Whetstone Street was investigated.

6:57pm A 9-1-1 open line was checked from the 800 block of Clay Street. It turned out to be young children playing with a phone.

8:48pm Officers investigated a hit-skip accident to a parked car in the 300 block of Wiley St.

9:10pm A traffic warning was given in the area of W. Oakwood Ave.

9:14pm A report of a group of juveniles running in the street on Willard St. was unfounded, they had gone inside.

9:22pm A report of vehicles broken into at Bucyrus Precision Tech is under investigation.

10:51pm Officers assisted a State Trooper with a traffic stop on St. Rt. 4.

11:17pm An employee of Bucyrus Precision Tech reported her vehicle broken into.

11:41pm A traffic warning was given on Washington Square.

11:41pm Officers served a city income tax summons on Washington Square.

12:29am A male was cited for driving under suspension in the 400 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

2:38am Officers conducted a welfare check of an intoxicated pedestrian in the 200 block of E. Mansfield St. The subject was escorted to a sober friend.

2:54am A traffic warning was given in the area of Marion Rd. and E. Beal Ave.

3:54am A traffic warning was given in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

4:34am A traffic warning was given in the 1700 block of Tiffin St.

5:27am A report of a fight at the Knights Inn was investigated.

7:13am Officers made a welfare check in the 400 block of Plymouth St. They were unable to contact anyone at the residence.

7:34am Property found on S. Highland Ave. was brought to the station.

8:34am Barbara Boothe, 38, was arrested in the 300 block of W. Warren St. and charged with disorderly conduct. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

9:39am A Schell Ave. resident reported two Christmas shower lights stolen from his yard overnight.

9:52am A domestic dispute in the 500 block of Jones St. was mediated.

10:03am A subject came on station to speak with officers reference credit card fraud.

12:56pm Leslie Garee, 43, was arrested at her residence on three Crawford County warrants after officers were called to the 400 block of E. Warren St. for a domestic issue. Garee was released pending a court appearance.

1:20pm Thomas G. Nicholson, 59, was served with a summons for theft at the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office. He was released pending his court appearance.

1:31pm Officers assisted with a vehicle lock-out in the 200 block of S. Lane St.

2:54pm A report of a vehicle speeding in the area of Woodlawn and McKinley Avenue was investigated.

3:42pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle in the 900 block of S. Walnut Street.

4:58pm A one vehicle crash into a sign in the area of Stetzer and E. Mansfield Street was investigated.

5:00pm A two motorcycle crash with injuries in the area of Lane and Plymouth Street was investigated. A driver and owner of one of the units involved were issued citations.

7:58pm Officers responded along with EMS personnel to Wendy’s for a call that a patron had fallen and needed assistance.

8:04pm Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 600 block of E. Southern Avenue.

10:13pm A hang up 9-1-1 call was investigated in the 300 block of E. Lucas Street. It was an accidental dial and everything was fine there.

11:59pm A verbal traffic warning was given in the area of Tiffin St. and Hill St.

12:11am A traffic warning was given in the area of E. Charles St. and S. East St.

12:11am A city income tax summons was served in the area of E. Charles St. and S. East St.

1:10am A parking citation was issued in the 200 block of N. Poplar St.

6:27am A traffic citation was issued on N. Sandusky Ave. for expired registration.

8:52am A two car private property accident was investigated in the 100 block of E. Mansfield St.

8:58am Officers handled a civil standby in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

10:30am Takiyah Wright, 18, Bucyrus was arrested on a warrant for theft and domestic violence. She is being

held pending a court appearance.

12:52pm Officers towed a vehicle for 48 hour parking violation in the 1200 block of Robinhood Dr.

1:21pm Officers handled a civil standby in the 900 block of Failor Ave.

2:02pm A Bucyrus resident reported tools stolen from his property on S. Spring Street prior to the fire at that location.

2:56pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle in the 200 block of E. Irving Street.

4:35pm An employee of Walmart reported someone shoplifting from the store. Officers are investigating.

4:48pm A resident from the 100 block of Whetstone Street came to the Police Department to report a civil custody issue.

5:05pm A traffic warning was issued on Marion Road.

5:33pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at Family Dollar.

5:43pm Norfolk and Southern Railroad was notified of a signal malfunction when the gate arms at the railroad crossing on N. Sandusky Avenue kept going up and down.

6:57pm A report of an erratic driver in the 300 block of S. Sandusky Ave. was investigated.

7:58pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle at CVS.

8:09pm A report of an erratic driver in the area of S. Poplar St. and W. Charles St. was investigated.

8:11pm Officers investigated a domestic issue in the Marion Rd. area.

9:07pm Officers assisted Ontario Police Dept. delivering a message in the 900 block of E. Warren St.

9:42pm A disturbance in the 300 block of S. Sandusky Ave. was investigated.

Dec. 8

1:09am A traffic warning was given in the area of E. Mansfield St. and Iron St.

3:08am A traffic warning was given in the area of Whetstone St. and Hopley Ave.

3:20am Officers attempted to make a traffic stop on S. Sandusky Ave. near Home Circle Dr. The suspect vehicle did not stop and violated a railroad crossing gate on S. Sandusky Ave. south of Beal Ave. Other responding officers intercepted the suspect on Marion Rd. near Bucyrus Plaza. William Blackert Jr, 37, was arrested for open container of alcohol, fleeing and eluding and cited for driving under suspension. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for a court appearance.

7:21am Officers contacted the County Dog Warden regarding a large dog running loose in the 600 block of Garnet Ct.

7:36am A verbal warning was issued to a motorist for red light violation Sandusky and Perry Streets.

9:09am Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 1900 block of Marion Rd.

9:43am A verbal warning was issued to a motorist for driving with headphones on Charles and Poplar Streets.

11:36am Officers conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

11:37am Officers investigated a report of a hitskip in the Hospital parking lot.

1:29pm A report of a disturbance in the 900 block of W. Perry St. was investigated.

1:36pm Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout in the 200 block of Crossroads Blvd.

12:44am Officers assisted EMS personnel in the area of Poplar and Rensselaer Street after receiving a call of someone possibly passed out in a vehicle in the area.

4:25am A Bucyrus resident reported being robbed at gunpoint in the 200 block of Inez Street. Officers are investigating.

5:26am Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle in the 1300 block of Whetstone Street.

5:49am Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle at Bucyrus Community Hospital.

7:27am A false alarm was received in the 1400 block of Fairview Ave.

9:14am A report of a disturbance in the 200 block of Woodlawn was investigated.

11:54am Anthony Burns, 19, Bucyrus, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County.

12:00pm Officers investigated a report of drywall hitting a vehicle in the 400 block of E. Mansfield St.

1:54pm Officers assisted a disabled motorist at Crossroads and Sandusky.

2:12pm Officers investigated a suspicious person in the 500 block of E. Mansfield St. The individual had locked himself out of his residence.

2:25pm Officers spoke to a Beal Av. resident about a possible scam.
