Nov. 1

Police investigated a case of alleged theft from a motor vehicle that was reported in the 100 block of Mansfield Street. Resident at that location told police that stole the catalytic converter off of one vehicle and the muffler off of a second vehicle. The vehicle owner told officers that the alleged perpetrator is possibly known to them. Police took information for a report.

Police investigated a case of alleged theft that was reported in the 200 block of Grove Avenue. Resident at that location told police that an unknown subject stole a bicycle. Police took information for a report.

Police issued a citation for criminal trespass to a male subject after responding to an incident in the 200 block of Pershing Avenue. Police also trespassed the male subject from that location.

Police investigated a report of an unruly juvenile at a residence in the 300 block of North Market Street. Police took information for a report.

Nov. 2

Police issued a verbal warning to a male subject for loud music at a residence in the 200 block of South Murray Street.

Police assisted deputies from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation of a suspicious male subject who was armed with a rifle in the 500 block of Brookview Road, Polk Township. Deputies detained the individual. Police and deputies conducted a search of the residence.

Police investigated a case of alleged theft that was reported at a business in the 400 block of Portland Way North. Police took information for a report.

Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle crash that was reported in the 1200 block of State Route 598. No injuries were reported. Police took information for a report.

Police arrested a male subject on suspicion of domestic violence at a residence on East Church Street.

Police responded to a report of an unruly juvenile in the 300 block of West Atwood Street. Police spoke to the juvenile.

Police arrested two female subjects who were wanted on warrants after responding to an incident at a residence in the 200 block of South Jefferson Street. Deputies from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office transported the two female subjects to the Crawford County Jail.

Police issued a citation for driving under suspension to a motorist after responding to a report of a suspicious person in the vicinity of Fairview Avenue and Payne Avenue.

Nov. 3

Police issued a verbal warning for a turn signal violation to a motorist following a traffic stop in the vicinity of State Route 19 and Dawsett Avenue.

Police investigated a case of alleged theft that was reported in the 200 block of South Pierce Street. Resident at that location reported that a video game console was stolen while they were out of town. Police took information for a report.

Police investigated a case of alleged theft that was reported in the 700 block of Heise Park Lane. Police took information for a report.

Police arrested a male subject on suspicion of criminal damaging/endangering and disorderly conduct after responding to a report of an incident at a residence in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue.

Police issued warnings to two subjects who were riding bicycles at night without lights on them. Police stopped the subjects near the intersection of East Atwood Street and Market Street.

Police arrested a male subject on suspicion of domestic violence after responding to a report of a physical altercation at a residence in the 400 block of Libby Lane.
