Tot’s and Toddler’s Mothers League holds November meeting

The Iberia Tot’s and Toddler’s Mothers League held their November meeting at the home of Mary Carney with Louise Brutchey as co Hostess. Seven members and one guest were present.Devotions were read by Mary called “Unlikely Friendship.”

Secretaries report was read and approved. Treasurers report was given and roll call was “Who is your favorite author”? Scholarship reported four students need to get their college entrance report to her by Jan 1.

Bloodmobile reported on nineteen good units of blood were accepted and refeshments were served by Jean Bane and Sandy Stover. Iberia United Methodist Church will be in charge of the next bloodmobile.

State Convention was a success with the theme “Fall Back in Time”. Ken Hammontree did a very good presentation of Johnny Appleseed. The owner of Apple Hill came and talked on Apples and all the aspects of Apple Orchards and how they are run. She also brought with her the delicious and famous Apple Doughtnuts to share.

Don Wiggins from Flying Horse shared with us about the camp and how it is run. He was presented with a check from the districts as they were the Philanthropic project for the year.

New business is the cooking of Township dinner on Dec. 4. The money received from them will go to our scholarship project.

Special guest was our New Superintendent from Northmor Chad Redmon. He gave an informative talk on how Northmor is doing financially. Common Core was explained and members had questions that he answered.

Everyone enjoyed his visit.

Neva Brovont won the doorprize and the December 8th meeting will be held at Jean Bane’s with Lou Ellen Ness as cohostess. Meeting was ajourned with the club Benediction.
