Police provided K9 assistance for the Crestline Police Department. Officers located suspected illegal drugs at the scene.

Police responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash with injuries that occurred in the 900 block of Bucyrus Road. Officers issued a citation to one of the motorists involved in the crash. A male subject was taken into custody on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

Police investigated a report of utility lines down in the 100 block of North Union Street. Officers notified the Line Department. Line Department employees responded to the scene to repair the downed lines.

Police responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash that occurred in the 300 block of Third Avenue. No one was injured.

Police investigated a report of alleged illegal drug residue that an individual discovered in the property they were renting in the 800 block of Harding Way East.

Police issued a warning for a 24-hour parking violation to a motorist in the 300 block of Gill Street. Caller to dispatch reported that an SUV had been parked in the same location for more than 24 hours. Officers marked the vehicle’s tires and left a telephone message for the owner of the SUV.

Police responded to a request from the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office to assist in the pursuit of a suspect. Morrow County authorities apprehended the suspect. The male subject operating the suspect vehicle was wanted on warrants issued in Marion County. He was transferred to the custody of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office after being apprehended.

Police issued a verbal warning for a broken tail light to a motorist following a traffic stop in the vicinity of Church and North Market streets.

Police investigated a report of a child left unattended in a running vehicle in the Public Square. Officers advised the motorist regarding the rules about leaving children unattended in vehicles.

Police investigated a case of alleged assault that was reported in the 1300 block of Harding Way East. The altercation involved a male subject and a female subject. The male subject told officers he did not wish to file a report. Officers advised the male subject to stay away from the female subject.

Police issued a verbal warning for excessive speed to a motorist following a traffic stop in the vicinity of Edgewood Drive and Hetrick Drive.

Police K9 officers provided standby assistance for Crestline Police during an arrest in the 200 block of West Main Street, Crestline.

Police investigated a case of alleged child abuse. Officers took information for a report.

Police investigated a case of alleged theft from a motor vehicle that was reported in the 400 block of North East Street. Vehicle owner told officers that the catalytic converter was stolen off of a truck parked at his place of business. Officers took information for a report.

Police investigated a case of alleged theft that was reported in the 200 block of Harding Way East. Individual told officers that their son’s cellphone was taken. Officers took information for a report.

Police issued a warning to a motorist for not having a functioning passenger side headlight following a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Market Street.

Police issued a verbal warning for disorderly conduct to a male subject who was allegedly trying to start a fight during the Oktoberfest on Harding Way. Officers told the male subject to leave the festival.

Police investigated a case of alleged assault that was reported in the 400 block of Harding Way East. Police took information for a report.

Police investigated an alleged drug overdose reported at a residence on South Market Street. EMS transported a female subject to Galion Community Hospital to be evaluated.

Police issued a verbal warning for a turn signal violation to a motorist following a traffic stop in the vicinity of East Atwood and Market streets.

Police issued a verbal warning for excessive speed to a motorist following a traffic stop in the vicinity of South East Street and Harding Way East.

Police investigated a case of alleged vandalism of a vehicle that was reported in the 100 block of South Market Street. Individual reported that the catalytic converter was cut off of his vehicle. Officers took information for a report.

Police issued verbal warnings for disorderly conduct to multiple subjects allegedly involved in a domestic dispute in the 500 block of McDonald Avenue.

Police issued a citation for violation of assured clear distance ahead to a motorist involved in a two-vehicle crash that occurred in the vicinity of Heise Park Lane and Portland Way North. No injuries were reported.

Police arrested a female subject on suspicion of disorderly conduct following an altercation in the Public Square. Female was accused of throwing an object at another person. Female subject was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center.

Police arrested an adult female subject on suspicion of disorderly conduct after responding to a report of an unruly juvenile in the 900 block of Allen Street. Female was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center.

Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 800 block of Timberlane Drive. Police took information for a report.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious person at a business in the 600 block of Harding Way West. Police issued a warning for trespassing to a male subject at the location. Police took information for a report.

Police responded to a report of an alleged drug overdose in the 100 block of Portland Way North. Police took information for a report.

Police investigated a case of alleged assault that was reported at Heise Park. Police took information for a report.

Police issued a warning for disorderly conduct to a male subject who was found intoxicated in the 300 block of North Market Street.
