7:34am Officers checked on a reported suspicious vehicle in City Lot #3. An individual was preparing a cup of coffee.

7:49am A domestic dispute was investigated in the 600 block of E. Rensselaer St. It was a verbal dispute, no assaults or threats reported.

10:33am Katie M Brillhart, 30, was arrested in the 800 block of Cleland Ave. on a Crawford County warrant. She was released pending a court date.

10:45am A motorist was given a warning in the area of Lane and Water Streets.

11:28am Officers assisted a disabled motorist in the area of Lane and Mary Streets.

12:10pm Officers served a search warrant in the area of E. Center St. and S. Walnut St. One individual is being sought for drug abuse instruments.

1:37pm An accident report was taken in the 400 block of N. Sandusky Ave. One of the involved parties, Michael A Jeffery, 24, was arrested in the 400 block of N. Sandusky Ave. on a Richland County warrant. He was taken to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office pending transport to Richland County.

2:46pm Officers checked the 1300 block of Woodlawn Avenue for dirt bikes in the roadway.

3:06pm A resident from Bucyrus Plaza came to the Police Department to report her vehicle vandalized today.

3:17pm A warning was issued for parking in a crosswalk by the Bucyrus Elementary School.

3:34pm A parking complaint in the area of Southern and Marion Road was investigated.

3:38pm A resident from the 1400 block of Whetstone Street reported her debit card used fraudulently.

3:44pm A resident in the 600 block of Hopley Avenue reported damage to their fence from a neighbor’s trailer.

4:03pm A report of a suspicious person harassing pedestrians in the area of Whetstone and Southern Avenue was investigated.

4:10pm A report of dogs running loose in the 1100 block of John Street was checked. The dogs were reunited with their owner.

5:18pm Officers attempted to deliver a DV release notification message. No one was located at the residence.

5:37pm A traffic warning was issued on E. Irving Street.

5:59pm A report of a possible domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Franklin Street was unfounded.

6:23pm An employee at New Day Ministries requested an officer check the building after she heard something while inside. No one was located inside.

6:33pm Officers spoke to a female on a motorized scooter on Whetstone Street about being on the roadway after dark with no lights.

6:45pm A report of a suspicious person at Dollar General was investigated.

6:53pm Officers checked around the Holy Trinity Church after a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area during their soup kitchen.

7:26pm A resident in the 500 block of S. Poplar Street reported items stolen from his residence by someone he knows.

7:44pm Officers assisted with a civil standby for property exchange in the 700 block of S. Poplar Street.

7:52pm A disturbance between neighbors in the 200 block of Schaber Avenue was mediated.

8:10pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of E. Warren and Sandusky Avenue.

8:12pm Officers checked on a vehicle on Plymouth Street that appeared to be having mechanical problems. The driver was able to get the vehicle going.

8:13pm A false alarm at the Bucyrus Schools Administration Building on Plymouth Street was investigated.

8:21pm A traffic warning was issued in the 1500 block of N. Sandusky Avenue.

8:39pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Sherman and Plymouth Street.

8:58pm Officers made contact with 2 reportedly suspicious people in the area of Cleland and Beverly Drive.

9:15pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Sandusky and Charles Street.

9:15pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Maple and Dudley Street.

9:40pm Mary Wise, 23, was arrested in the 1500 block of E. Mansfield St. on charges of Domestic Violence. She was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

Nov. 17

12:38am A verbal traffic warning was given in the N. Lane St. area.

12:44am A traffic warning was given in the area of N. Lane St. and Plymouth St.

1:03am Charles Marquis, 53 was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol on S. Lane St. near Woodlawn Ave. He was issued with a court date and released to a sober party.

3:53am A resident in the 200 block of Schaber Ave. reported someone hitting his house. Officers checked the area and did not locate anyone.

5:56am A report of an unwanted male at a residence in the 500 block of Failor St. was checked and the subject left the area.
