8:32am A resident in the 500 block of Tiffin St. reported tools stolen from his truck.

8:33am A trespass report in the 100 block of W. Perry St. was investigated.

9:06am A report of vandalism to a vehicle in the 800 block of Clay St. was found to be a junk vehicle.

11:33am A report of a man riding recklessly on a bicycle in the area of Marion Rd. and Bruce Ave. was investigated.

12:31pm Officers transported a female juvenile for Crawford County Juvenile Court.

1:01pm A report of a barking dog in the area of Southland Ave. was unfounded.

1:06pm Officers investigated a dispute in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

1:38pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle at Speedway.

2:05pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 900 block of E. Rensselaer St.

2:07pm The State Patrol assisted officers with a traffic stop in the 1100 block of E. Southern Ave.

2:53pm Officers mediated a domestic issue between a mother and daughter in the 1400 block of Whetstone St.

3:32pm Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 200 block of W. Rensselaer St.

4:00pm A citizen came on station reporting his license plate stolen.

4:31pm Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1300 block of High St. and Michael Keeton, 37, was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was issue with a minor misdemeanor citation and released.

4:55pm Officers investigated a civil dispute in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

6:00pm A Bucyrus resident came to the Police Department to report her elderly father, who has dementia, missing with his vehicle. The person was later located and placed into the care of his daughter.

6:20pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle at Walmart.

6:34pm Officers assisted a citizen in the 500 block of Prospect St.

8:10pm A female was warned against trespassing at a business in the 200 block of Stetzer Rd.

8:55pm A male reported being assaulted while in the 900 block of Hopley Ave.

9:13pm A report of a fight in the 300 block of W. Mansfield St. was investigated.

9:51pm A report of kids walking in the roadway in the 400 block of E. Rensselaer St. was investigated. Officers spoke to the individuals and an 18 year old male was found to have an active misdemeanor Crawford County Warrant and he was given a court date.

9:53pm A report of a suspicious vehicle parked at the Duke and Duchess station was investigated.

10:22pm A report of a fight in the 1300 block of High St. was investigated.

11:56pm A report of a suspicious person in the 400 block of E. Charles St. was investigated.

Oct. 24

12:32am A report of a shoplifter at Walmart is under investigation. The suspect ran from the store and lost the flip flops he was wearing in the parking lot. The suspect caused minor damage in the store and was identified but his whereabouts are unknown. The suspect was last seen in the area of the 1200 block of Reid St. and E. Mansfield St. and a vehicle that had been stolen from Miller’s Collision in the 1600 block of E. Mansfield St. was recovered in the 1100 block of Reid St. The incident remains under investigation.

2:54am A report of a possible fight at the Horseshoe was investigated and the subjects dispersed.

3:35am A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Blicke St. was investigated.

4:52am Officers assisted Life Support in the 500 block of S. Walnut St.

8:37am A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of N. Sandusky Avenue was found to be a sales rep for a business.

11:23am Officers located the missing elderly male on Stevens Court. He was turned over to his family.

12:50pm Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout at Walmart.

12:51pm Officers stood by for a civil property exchange in the 200 block of Schaber Avenue.

1:09pm A report of an intoxicated male walking on Marion Road was unfounded and the individual was assisted with an escort to his residence.

2:14pm A report of a junk vehicle in the 500 block of E. Mansfield Street is being investigated.

3:46pm A report of an erratic driver coming into town on SR 4 northbound was investigated and the driver was located in the 200 block of N. Sandusky and was sober and complained of a vehicle following him too closely.

3:49pm A false alarm at the Crawford County Kidney Center was investigated.

5:46pm A private property collision at Aumiller Park was investigated.

6:16pm A two vehicle non-injury crash in the area of Sandusky and Rensselaer Street was investigated and a citation was issued for failure to yield.

6:39pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle in the 400 block of McKinley Avenue.

7:25pm Officers assisted EMS personnel at the 300 block of Water St.

7:29pm A motorist came to the Police Department to report being followed through town by an unknown subject.

8:45pm A resident in the 100 block of E. Southern Avenue reported someone pounding on her back windows. It turned out to be a family member playing a prank on the resident.

11:39pm Officers assisted Galion Police Dept. checking for a vehicle possibly involved in a hit-skip crash in Galion that may be in the 100 block of Whetstone St.

11:41pm Officers investigated a report of a trespasser possibly tampering with lights in the 800 block of Clay St.

Oct. 25

12:14am A report of a male yelling in the 500 block of S. Poplar St. was found to be a verbal domestic argument.

1:37am A female was cited for driving without a valid license in the Stetzer Rd. area.

2:06am Officers on patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle parked in the 1600 block of E. Mansfield St.

2:26am A female was cited for driving under suspension in the 2000 block of E. Mansfield St.

11:37am A man was warned for trespassing at Clark Oil, 934 Marion Rd.

1:33pm Officers checked on a report of a verbal dispute in the 1700 block of Marion Rd.

1:56pm Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies in getting a man out of the mud at Carpenter’s Bottom.

2:31pm Officers towed an abandoned dirt bike in the 500 block of Schaber Ave.

4:30pm Officers investigated a 9-1-1 hang up call from Aumiller Park. Officers made contact with the caller and determined it was an accidental dial.

6:22pm Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 800 block of S. Highland Avenue.

6:40pm An employee of Walmart reported a shoplifting from the business.

7:16pm Officers investigated an open door at a business on N. Lane Street.

8:49pm A Bucyrus resident came to the Police Department to report a disturbance.

9:13pm A report of an individual causing a disturbance at Washington Square was unfounded.

9:19pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle on Penn Avenue.

11:52pm A report of a barking dog in the 900 block of E. Rensselaer Street was unfounded.

Oct. 26

1:10am A report of a barking dog in the 1000 block of E. Warren Street was resolved with the owners taking the dog inside when officers arrived in the area.

6:07am Traffic stop on Whetstone St. near Shelly Dr. Robert Sugden Jr., 44, was arrested on a Tiffin PD warrant. He was also issued a citation for Driving Under Suspension. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to await a relay to Tiffin.

6:29am Officers checked the alleyway in the area of E. Warren and Sheckler Street after receiving a report of suspicious people with flashlights in the area. No one was located when officers arrived.

10:14am Officers investigated a report of identity theft in the 600 block of Ridge Ave.

12:23pm Ryan Spears, 39, Bucyrus, was arrested on a warrant out of Wyandot County on Hopley and Oakwood. He was turned over to Wyandot County authorities.

1:03pm A false alarm was received from the Bucyrus Historical Society.

3:36pm A suspicious vehicle was investigated in the area of Morgan Manor.

3:50pm Officers spoke to a resident on station about a possible theft.

4:20pm A report of a fight was investigated in the area of Spring and Mansfield St.

4:05pm A 13 year old girl was reported missing by her grandparent. She was later located.

5:37pm A disturbance was investigated on Woodbine St.

5:47pm A parking complaint was made at Franklin Ct and Monnett St.

6:16pm A disturbance was investigated in the 900 block of Marion Rd.

7:13pm A false alarm was investigated in the 400 block of Plymouth St.

7:33pm A report of a shoplifting at Walmart is under investigation.

8:14pm A verbal traffic warning was issued in the 100 block of River St.

9:39pm Officers spoke to a resident on station about a possible theft.

10:02pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle at McDonalds.

10:11pm A disturbance on Teddy Avenue was investigated.

10:58pm A report of kids skateboarding in the parking lot at Wendy’s was investigated. They had left the area before officers arrived.

11:00pm A resident in the 1100 block of Rosedale Avenue reported drug paraphernalia found at their residence.

11:53pm A verbal traffic warning was issued in the 1400 block of E. Mansfield Street.

8:19am Officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

9:07am A false alarm was received from the 1300 block of Beal Ave.

9:08am Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout in the East Pointe Shopping Plaza.

10:56am A false alarm was received from the 800 block of Failor St.

12:23pm A report of vandalism to a vehicle in the 600 block of N. Sandusky Ave. was taken.

12:30pm A report of a domestic dispute in the 300 block of E. Charles St. was unfounded.

12:51pm A resident in the 100 block of Wiley St. reported being bitten by a dog.

2:23pm A report of a two vehicle, non-injury accident in the 1300 block of E. Mansfield St. was investigated.

3:50pm A false alarm was investigated in the 1400 block of Fairview Av.

6:06pm A disturbance in the 500 block of S. Spring St. was investigated.

6:29pm A report of teens loitering and blocking traffic was investigated in the 200 block of E. Mansfield St.

6:38pm Officers checked a report of a light on inside a vacant resident on Iron St.

6:42pm Officers assisted Life Support Ambulance personnel in the area of Woodlawn and Park Av.

7:52pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Tiffin and Irving St.

8:15pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Southern and Sandusky Av.

8:24pm A civil standby was requested in the 400 block of Wallace Av.

8:28pm Officers investigated a report of two suspicious males in the 100 block of W. Warren St.

8:38pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Mansfield and Stetzer Rd.

9:21pm A false alarm was investigated in the 800 block of Arrowhead Dr.

9:26pm Officers assisted with a request for a welfare check.

Oct. 28

1:05am Officers on patrol checked on a partially open garage door in the 400 block of Heritage Circle.

2:50am A report of bright lights in the 600 block of Woodlawn Ave. was investigated. Officers searched the area and found everything to be all right.
