Four Crawford County residents were arrested after a drug bust Thursday in Crestline.
According to reports, The Crawford County Special Response Team (consisting of officers from Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Bucyrus and Galion Police Departments and Bucyrus & Galion Fire Departments) assisted by the Metrich Enforcement Unit, Crestline Police Department and the Crawford County Prosecutors Office executed a search warrant at 904 Dales Place Crestline.
Officials said officers seized suspected heroin, numerous pills, syringes, drug paraphernalia and over $1 million in cash.
The following people were arrested:
Angela L. Carroll, 47, 904 Dales Place Crestline
Chelsea L. Prosser, 26, 904 Dales Place Crestline
Brooke L. Weickum, 22, 904 Dales Place Crestline
Charles A. Tyler, 40, 807 S. Sandusky Ave Bucyrus
Carroll, Prosser and Weickum are being held on felony drug offenses; while Tyler is being held on a probation violation, reports indicated.
Also this week, a Bucyrus woman is being held on three charges along with two other persons after a raid on a Liberty Street home on Tuesday by Bucyrus Police Department detectives along with members of the Crawford County Special Response Team consisting of METRICH officers, Galion Police, Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies and Bucyrus Police officers.
Karissa L. Smith, 41, 117 W. Liberty St., was charged with possession of Gabapentin, possession of a drug of abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia on Thursday in Crawford County Municipal Court.
According to Bucyrus Police Chief Dave Koepke, two others may face charges after detectives recovered drugs, drug paraphernalia and other evidence of drug trafficking. The incident remains under investigation.
“Great work by detectives from all the agencies and thank you to Sheriff Kent, Chief Satterfield and your agencies for assisting us,” Koepke said.
