A Galion man and his wife says they are not guilty to charges of murdering the man’s father.

Fred L. Saunders Jr. and his wife, Marla T. Saunders, made the pleas Monday in Crawford County Common Pleas Court.

Saunders, 36, faces a first-degree felony charge of aggravated murder in the death of his dad, Fred Saunders Sr., 68, as well as kidnapping, a first-degree felony and tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony.

Saunders’ wife, 36, was since charged with complicity to commit murder and kidnapping, first degree felonies and obstruction of justice, third-degree felonies.
