Tiro man gets one year in prison

A Tiro man was sentenced to one year in prison this week in Crawford County Common Pleas Court after admitting to violating the terms of his community control.

David A. Dean, 33, 108 S. Robinson St., admitted to using heroin and overdosing on the drug on Oct. 2 while he was on community control from a 2012 conviction on a fifth-degree felony theft charge.

Paul A. Villavicencio, 27, Bucyrus, was sentenced to five years of community control and 45 days in the Crawford County Justice Center after he pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
