Friday, Aug. 2

10:49 a.m. — Officers assisted a bail bonds company in catching a man in the 200 block of North Liberty Street.

12:27 p.m. — A Grove Avenue resident reported being harassed.

12:30 p.m. — A Moto Mart reported a woman trying to use a counterfeit $20 bill..

3:18 p.m. — Warnings were issued for disorderly conduct after police responded to a fight in the 500 block of East Church Street.

4:02 p.m. — After responding to kids smoking at Heise Park, one person was cited for contributing to the delinquency of juveniles and the illegal distribution of cigarettes.

9:43 p.m. — A domestic dispute was reported in the 600 block of South Boston Street.

Saturday, Aug. 3

12:45 a.m. — A Third Avenue resident reported a group of kids looking in a window at their residence.

1:39 a.m. — A gun and medication was reported stolen from a Third Avenue resident

1:53 a.m. — A Fifth Avenue resident reported a suspicious man in a black hoodie on a porch.

2:35 a.m. — A 55-year-old Galion ,am was issued a citation for operating a vehicle under the influence and driving under

3:15 a.m. — An assault was reported in the 600 block of Fairview Avenue.

5:43 p.m. — A woman was cited for allowing her dogs to run at-large in the 500 block of East Church Street.

11:49 p.m. — A South Pierce Street resident told police someone was looking into windows on the porch.

Sunday, Aug. 4

12:20 a.m. — A Walker Street resident reported a Galion schools basketball sign stolen from the yard.

2:24 a.m. — Two juveniles allegedly out past curfew fled from officers. Police received a tip about 30 minutes later that two kids were hiding in a creek off Fairview Avenue.

3:47 p.m. — After receiving a report of a reckless driver headed to Galion by troopers, police stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of Harding Way West. a 31-year-old Marion man was arrested on numerous charges, including possession of Oxycodone and possession of drug abuse instruments.

11:35 p.m. — An Easton Way resident reported an attempted breaking and entering.

Monday, Aug. 5

7:04 a.m. — A vehicle reportedly stolen from Shelby was spotted in the 800 block of Charles Street, but the river took off running.

12:38 p.m. — A business in the 300 block of South Street reported the unauthorized use of company vehicles.

3:59 p.m. — A South Pierce Street resident told police he an his dog were attacked by another dog. One person was warned for allowing a dog to run loose.

Tuesday, Aug. 6

5:45 a.m. — Someone reportedly tried to break into a home in the 300 block of North Columbus Street.

11:05 a.m. — A home in the 600 block of North Columbus Street was reportedly broken into and a water heater tank was stolen.

12:26 p.m. — An assault was reported in the 400 block of Third Avenue.

7:15 p.m. — A woman was cited for public indecency after police received a a report of a woman urinating in a parking lot.

11:56 p.m. — Police broke up an altercation involving several kids in the 100 block of South Market Street.

Wednesday, Aug. 7

12:30 a.m. — Two disorderly conduct warnings were issued after an incident in the 200 block of South Union Street.

7:13 a.m. — A report of an impaired woman in the 800 block of South Market Street was investigated. One person was arrested on a charge of possession of drugs and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

7:12 p.m. — A Grove Avenue resident reported someone borrowed their lawnmower, and then sold it.

9:02 p.m. — One person was arrested for disorderly conduct after an incident in 400 block of Libby Lane.
