Friday, May 10

1:30 a.m. — Police received a report of a suspicious person in the 500 block of Gill Avenue.

2:46 a.m. — An 18-year-old Galion man was arrested for theft at Circle K.

5:50 a.m. — A South Boston Street resident a vehicle stolen.

8:56 a.m. — A arguing at the Duke and Duchess store was reported to police.

9:11 a.m. — Police received a report of two vehicles with their doors open and domes light on in the 600 block of Harding Way West was investigated. The owners were contacted and confirmed someone had gone through both vehicles. Area residents requested officers make extra patrols in the area.

7:34 p.m. — One man was arrested in the 400 block of Libby Lane for the improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle, having weapons under disability, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana and marijuana drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

Saturday, May 11

12:53 a.m. — A report of a suspicious person in the 500 block of South Riblet Street turned out to be a woman cutting through yards on her way home. She hitched a ride with officers to her residence.

7:14 a.m. — Police were unable to find the culprit after receiving a report of a man in a dark hoodie walking around alleys and the hospital parking lot.

10:49 a.m. — One person was arrested on a warrant in the 800 block of South Boston Street.

11:46 a.m. — A needle found in the 100 block of South Pierce Street was turned over to officers for proper disposal.

3:10 p.m. — A runaway juvenile was reported in the 800 block of Harding Way East.

4:03 p.m. — A golf cart was reportedly being driven on South Jefferson Street. The driver was warned to stay off the road until the vehicle was street legal and registered.

4:22 p.m. — One resident was told to turn down the volume after loud music was reported in the 300 block of North Market Street.

6:05 p.m. — Officers assisted the Crawford County Dog Warden in the 300 block of Cherry Street with a dog running loose

9:30 p.m. — Police received a report of an impaired driver in the Portland Way South area.

10:38 p.m. — Bottle rockets were reported being shot off near Dawsett Avenue.

Sunday, May 12

9:45 p.m. — A report of a suspicious vehicle at the Sleep Inn was someone sleeping in their car.

12:24 p.m. — A domestic dispute was reported in the 400 block of Beechwood Drive.

7:50 p.m. — A domestic dispute was reported in the 700 block of Carter Drive.

10:19 p.m. — A man was arrested at Amman Reservoir for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

11:28 p.m. — An impaired driver was reported in the 200 block of Portland Way North.
