GALION – The 5-Star Rated Galion City School’s Preschool will host the “Spring Fling” for students and their families beginning at 9 a.m. at the Galion Primary School on Friday, March 29.

A full slate of activities will be available including a hands-on woodworking craft with Home Depot, decorating a flower pot and planting seeds and other arts and crafts activities. A yogurt bar and muffins will be available for breakfast for attendees. Family involvement is a major component of the preschool program, according to program coordinator Katy Erlsten.

“This event is centered around spring, which is a state standard for science in preschool, and part of our program’s curriculum. These types of engagement activities are important because they bring families together to have fun and showcase our 5-Star Preschool Program.”
