Sept. 16

7:01am A resident in the 800 block of E. Warren Street reported a purse stolen from her vehicle overnight. Later Items found in a yard in the 800 block of E. Warren Street were returned to their owner.

8:26am A domestic disturbance at Bucyrus Plaza was investigated.

8:38am A report of a possible Protection Order violation in the 900 block of Maple Street was investigated.

9:06am A traffic complaint was made in the 700 block of Kaler Avenue.

9:48am A report of a suspicious male sitting at private property in the 900 block of Marion Road was investigated. The individual was found to have a scheduled court appearance and he was escorted to Municipal Court.

10:07am A report of someone blowing trash into the roadway in the 100 block of N. Spring Street was investigated. The person responsible had already picked up the trash before officers arrived.

11:48am A warning for dogs off leash was issued in the 1700 block of Marion Road.

11:56am A resident in the 400 block of Wallace Avenue reported being bitten by a dog and a quarantine notice was issued to the dog owner.

1:32pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle in the 100 block of Gaius Street.

1:50pm A resident in the 500 block of Park Avenue reported his vehicle vandalized.

2:04pm A domestic disturbance in the 100 block of N. Walnut Street was investigated.

2:31pm A motorist at the Kroger Fuel Station reported a checkbook and cash stolen while he was getting gas.

2:40pm Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 800 block of Cleland Street.

3:30pm A report of kids playing with a toy car in the roadway in the area of Hopley and East Street was investigated and the kids were located playing at a residence.

4:16pm A report of a possibly suicidal male living in Bucyrus was received. He was located in Marion County and is receiving assistance.

4:23pm A report of teenagers blocking the roadway in the area of Wheeler and Failor Street was checked and officers met with the subjects warning them to stay out of the road.

4:37pm A one vehicle crash involving a car into a pole in the 100 block of N. Sandusky Avenue was investigated. No injury and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

4:50pm Officers stood by for a civil custody exchange in the City Hall parking lot.

5:03pm Officers were back out with kids playing with a toy car in the roadway around Hopley and East Street. A parent was contacted and advised to keep them out of the roadway.

5:07pm A traffic citation for failure to reinstate license was issued in the 100 block of N. Sandusky Avenue.

5:32pm A disturbance at Kroger was reported. There was no criminal issue, but was determined to be a civil issue.

5:50pm Report of kids in the roadway in the area of Failor and Wheeler Avenue near Lions Park.

6:06pm A report of a vehicle driving through the grass at Aumiller Park was checked.

6:25pm Officers assisted Allen County Children Services conducting a welfare check at a Bucyrus residence.

6:44pm A report of 2 people trespassing on the RR bridge in the area of E. Mansfield St. was checked.

7:18pm Officers conducted a welfare check in the 1000 block of Sherman St.

7:45pm Officers conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of Failor St.

8:01pm Officers assisted with a civil stand by on station.

8:52pm A report of people yelling at Bucyrus Plaza was investigated.

8:56pm A report of 2 people loitering at Harmon Park soccer fields on N. Lane St. was checked and the subjects had left the area.

9:44pm Officers assisted a Blicke St. resident with removing a bat in his home.

9:57pm A report of a possible domestic issue at Bucyrus Plaza was investigated.

10:05pm A report of a barking dog in the 300 block of Wallace Ave. was checked and the dog was taken inside.

10:19pm A traffic warning was given in the area of Crossroads Blvd. and N. Sandusky Ave.

10:22pm Officers on patrol checked on a reported suspicious male on Crossroads Blvd.

11:15pm A report of people yelling at Bucyrus Manor Apts. was checked and all was quiet.

11:55pm A report of a suspicious vehicle in the Lutz Dr. area was investigated and the vehicle had left the area.

11:59pm Officers conducted a welfare check in the 1400 block of High St.

Sept. 17

12:35am A resident in the 500 block of Failor St. reported receiving harassing phone calls and messages from someone the resident knows. The other party was contacted and notified to cease the activity.

1:34am Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 800 block of Cleland St.
