Probation violation nets prison sentence

A Galion man is heading to prison after pleading guilty to violating the terms of his community control in Crawford County Common Pleas Court this week.

Steven A. McMillen, 31, 454 Sherman St., Galion, admitted during his hearing to the two community control violations which include being arrested on a new charge of misuse of a credit card and testing positive for cocaine and opiates.

Anthony W. Burns, 19, Bucyrus, was arraigned on two possession of drug charges, cocaine and synthetic marijuana known as K-2. Both are fifth-degree felonies.

Leuthold set Burns’ bond at $100,000. He is being held at the Crawford County Justice Center.

Two people were arraigned in Common Pleas Court Tuesday afternoon.

Carrie A. Snyder, 46, Crestline, was arraigned on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Leuthold set her bond at $50,000 and she is also being held at the Crawford County Justice Center.
