Nov. 20, 2018

10:08 a.m. — Officers administered a breathalyzer at Municipal Court.

2:18 p.m. — A report of a break-in at a storage unit was investigated in the 8100 block of Ohio 309.

4:36 p.m. — A report of the theft of money by deception is under investigation.

7:17 p.m. — A resident in the 200 block of Second Avenue reported being threatened.

7:34 p.m. — A report of a suspicious vehicle near the playground area at Heise Park was investigated.

11:15 p.m. — A report of a reckless driver was investigated in the 700 block of Charles Street and the driver was warned for his manner of driving.

Nov. 19, 2018

1:35 a.m. — A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of South Market Street was investigated.

1:53 a.m. — A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Gill Avenue was investigated.

7:20 a.m. — A Goldenrod Drive resident reported the theft of a drill kit and charger from their vehicle.

7:23 a.m. — A pink girl’s bicycle with training wheels was found in the Westwood Avenue area.

11:58 a.m. — A report of an employee stealing from a business in the 800 block of Ohio 598 was investigated.

3:11 p.m. — A report of a possible overdose was investigated in the 100 block of South Pierce Street. Officers were unable to locate the person.

4:40 p.m. — A report of kids crying and screaming in a vehicle at the Dollar Tree was investigated. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

6:40 p.m. — A welfare check was conducted in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street.

9:31 p.m. — A report of a dog attacking another dog in the 100 block of East Payne was investigated. The owner of the aggressive dog was warned against allowing his dog to run at large.

11:03 p.m. — A resident in the 100 block of Harding Way West reported a Ford Focus stolen.

2:48 a.m. — A report of an assault was taken at Galion Community Hospital.

6:40 a.m. — Officers warned a North Market Street resident in reference to a loud music complaint.

2:36 p.m. — A wallet found in the Libby Lane area was turned over to police.

Nov. 17, 2018

3:48 a.m. — A report of a suspicious man and woman in front of a house in the North Columbus Street area was investigated.

8:27 a.m. — A report of a sex offense was investigated and a juvenile arrested and taken to the Marion Juvenile Detention Center.

3 p.m. — A girl’s bicycle was found in the Westwood Avenue area and turned over to officers.

9:10 p.m. — Officers spoke with an unruly juvenile in the 200 block of South Street.

5:07 p.m. — A report of kids taking a cart from Dollar General was investigated in the 800 block of Harding Way East.

6:39 p.m. — A man was issued a citation in the 400 block of Libby Lane for possession of drug paraphernalia.

7:56 p.m. — A domestic dispute was investigated in the 100 block of Easton Way.

8:29 p.m. — A report of suspicious people dressed in black at the dugout area at the Galion Community Center was investigated. It was juveniles and their parents were notified.
