Tuesday

2:52 a.m. — A resident of Cedargate Apartments reported someone knocking on their door.

9:42 a.m. — Report of a suspicious male in the parking lot at Galion Avita Hospital.

10:12 a.m. — Caller from the 100 block of East St reported hearing someone inside their home while they were upstairs.

10:33 a.m. — A man reported receiving a threat from another male in the area of Cobey Park.

10:50 a.m. — The owner of The Citadel RPG and Gaming on Harding Way East notified police that someone had spray painted on his building.

1:16 p.m. — Report of a non-injury accident near the railroad tracks on Portland Way S.

3:51 p.m. — Caller notified police of an elderly man walking in the street on Harding Way West.

9:49 p.m. — An employee of Duke/Duchess on Harding Way West notified police of a female in their store who was possibly intoxicated.

Wednesday

7:24 a.m. — A bicycle was found by the Street Dept at the restrooms at East Park.

2:44 p.m. — A woman reported that her daughter took off when she was being picked up from the bus stop.

5:09 p.m. — Warning issued to two people walking on the railroad tracks along Railroad St.

7:26 p.m. — An employee of Jen Cor gas station on St Rt 309 reported a customer had backed into a utility pole.

8:45 p.m. — Caller reported two male juveniles walking in the area of Erie St having an argument.

Thursday

7:25 a.m. — A caller told police he just ran over the stop sign at the intersection of South Street and Pershing Avenue.

8:21 a.m. — Police ticketed a vehicle for being parked in the same public place for more than 24 hours. The vehicle was in the 300 block of North Columbus Street.

9:18 a.m. — A resident in the 600 block of Portland Way North called police to report shoddy work done by a contracted. The city’s building inspector told the resident the work did not meet city codes and needs to be redone. The contractor was given until Oct. 31 to fix the problem, and has not done so.

12:38 p.m. — A Clay Street resident reported someone keeps pounding on his trailer late at night. He also found where a knife had done some damage to the trailer.

5:10 p.m. — A caller told police someone tried to take $13,000 from a bank account at Firelands Federal Credit Union.

5:37 p.m. — A parent of a Galion City schools student reported his daughter was being bullied and tried to harm herself.

6:17 p.m. — Police received a call from a parent in the 600 block of Harding Way East who said another person was threatening to beat up his son. Police warned the would-be bully to stay away from the victim.
