Absentee voting open for Nov. 7 election

BUCYRUS — A bsentee ballots have arrived at the Crawford County Board of Elections for the Nov. 7 general election.

You may vote in the board of elections office in Bucyrus on:

  • Oct. 12-13: 8 a.m.to 5 p.m.
  • Oct. 16-20: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Oct. 23-27: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Oct. 30-Nov. 3: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 4: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 5: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Monday, Nov. 6: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You may also apply for an absentee ballot via mail. The elections board has a form you can request or just write a letter giving your Crawford County address, where you want the ballots mailed if it is a different address, your date of birth, the last four digits of your Social Security number or your driver’s license number, the date of election and a statement that you are a qualified elector. Please sign your name to the letter.

Absentee balloting by mail ends on Saturday, Nov. 5 at noon.

Absentee balloting in person ends Monday , Nov. 6 at 2 p.m.

Absentee ballots must be returned to the board of elections by 7:30 p.m. on election day.

For those not aware, the Crawford County Board of Elections office is at 112 E. Mansfield St. in the lower level of the Crawford County Administration Building.
