GALION — The Galion High School Class of 1954 held a class party at the Halsey house on Cherry Street. The get-together was hosted by classmates Edith Halsey Shroll and Faye Taylor Rasmussen. Thirty-two members, spouses and guests attended.

Everyone enjoyed mingling and reminiscing about ohigh school days. A buffet dinner was served after an invocation by Martha Mae Flannery Weithman. John Harsh provided a wine toast.

Faye Rasmussen led a high school trivia game with prizes awarded to everyone. Lots of chit chat continued for several hours with all concluding the classmates should get together again next year.

Thanks were extended to Ellie Denton Heiser, Jean Sickmiller Henry and Martha Mae Flannery Weithman for doing the invitations and mailings. Guest came from Port Clinton, Avon Lake, Upper Sandusky, Beaver Creek, Cincinnati, Mansfield, Texas and Florida, as well as from Galion and surrounding areas.
