7:44am Officers investigated a minor collision at Lane and Mansfield Streets. No damage was reported.

7:55am A false alarm was received from the 300 block of Dunloe Ct.

9:26am A disturbance in the 600 block of Kaler was a subject having a dispute with neighbors.

10:01am Officers checked a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of Hopley Ave. and found a subject was waiting for someone to meet them there.

10:18am A civil standby for return of property was made in the 600 block of Hill St.

11:24am Officers attempted to serve a warrant in the 1100 block of Hopley Ave.

11:47am A motorist was assisted in entering his locked vehicle in the area of Rogers and Lucas Streets.

12:45pm Officers took a report of a garage entered in the 100 block of Wayne Ave.

12:46pm Officers attempted to return found property to its owner.

1:04pm Officers assisted Life Support Personnel in the 500 block of W. Charles St.

1:11pm A subject came on station to speak with an officer reference a civil matter.

2:12pm A traffic citation was issued in the area of E. Southern and Hopley Av.

2:21pm A disturbance was investigated in the 200 block of Bland Av.

2:30pm Officers responded to the 500 block of Failor Ave. for a subject causing a family disturbance and requiring medical attention. Robert J. Painter, 43 was arrested on two Crawford County warrants. He was released pending a court appearance.

2:45pm A subject came on station to report that utilities had been fraudulently obtained in their name. Officers are investigating.

3:21pm Juveniles in the roadway on Lane and Plymouth St causing a traffic hazard for vehicles was reported.

3:26pm A non-injury crash was reported at Hopley and Oakwood Av. and one of the vehicles involved drove away. The involved vehicle that left was located on Cullen Ct. and a citation was issued.

3:58pm A false alarm in the 500 block of W. Charles St. was investigated.

4:19pm A false alarm in the 200 block of Woodlawn Ave. was investigated.

4:27pm Brad Sinnes, 25, was arrested in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Av. on two Crawford County warrants. He was issued a court date to appear and released.

5:06pm A report of a reckless driver in the area of Stetzer and Mansfield Streets was received. The vehicle was not located.

7:24pm A Wilbur St. resident reported juveniles struck her residence with a ball.

7:39pm A parking complaint on Faustina Ave. was unfounded.

7:41pm A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Faustina and Short Streets was investigated.

8:17pm A report of a vehicle playing loud music in the area of Sandusky and Lucas Streets was received. The vehicle was not located.

8:24pm A report of vehicles revving engines in the 1400 block of Woodlawn was received. The owner was warned reference noise violation.

8:37pm A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Dudley and Teddy Streets was investigated. The vehicle was not located.

8:51pm A report of an injured raccoon in the 1100 block of Woodlawn Ave. was investigated.

9:29pm A River St. resident reported receiving harassing calls and texts.

10:08pm A report of two subjects with drugs in the Marion Rd. area was unfounded.

10:27pm Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated male walking in the 900 block of E. Warren. The male was not intoxicated.

10:40pm Officers attempted to serve an income tax summons in the 1100 block of E. Warren St.

11:22pm A report of a possibly impaired driver in the area of Sandusky and Crescent Court was investigated. The driver was found to be fine.

11:28pm A motorist was issued a warning for headlights in the area of Southern and Marion Rd.

3:05am An E. Mansfield St. resident reported their residence broken into. Officers are investigating.

6:03am Officer assisted Crestline PD with a minor disturbance at Bucyrus Hospital involving a subject they had arrested. The subject cooperated with care and was transported to jail.

6:31am A subject found sleeping in the 200 block of S. Sandusky Ave. was found to be a subject in town for the festival. He was told to move on.

10:17am A S. Poplar St. resident reported a theft of cash from her home. Officers are investigating.

10:57am A Wiley St. resident reported his unlocked bike stolen from his yard overnight.

11:01am A Cleland Ave. resident reported an Xbox missing from her residence.

11:30am Officers righted a UPS drop box that had been knocked over.

12:10pm Officers responded to a report of an injury crash involving a vehicle striking a pole at Whetstone and Mansfield St. The driver was issued a citation and was assisted by EMS, Bucyrus Fire, AEP and a tow truck.

12:19pm A non-injury crash in the 1100 block of E. Mansfield St. was investigated and a citation was issued.

2:37pm Officers assisted an elderly female in the 100 block of Dudley Avenue.

3:45pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle at Circle K.

3:53pm A disturbance in the 200 block of Wayne Avenue was mediated.

4:15pm A false alarm at Starkey & Stoll was investigated.

4:38pm A domestic disturbance in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street was mediated and no assaults or threats were claimed.

4:57pm A resident in the 400 block of E. Rensselaer Street reported his vehicle used by someone he knows and not returned.

5:07pm A problem with the stop light at Marion and Beal was reported to the utility department and fixed.

5:38pm A disturbance between neighbors in the 400 block of N. Walnut Street was checked.

5:40pm A warning for loud music was issued in the 500 block of S. Spring Street.

5:50pm A report of a suspicious male in the 600 block of E. Mary Street was investigated. The subject was resting and continued on his way.

6:33pm A disturbance between neighbors was investigated in the 400 block of N. Walnut Street.

7:54pm Samantha Dyer, 28, was arrested on charges of Theft after reportedly shoplifting from Walmart. She was issued a summons to appear in court and was released.

8:04pm A report of an erratic driver in the area of Irving and Monnett Street was investigated. The vehicle involved was located parked on Wiley St.

8:13pm Officers assisted a resident experiencing mental issues on S. Spring Street.

8:57pm Adam Mahley, 32, was arrested for domestic violence stemming from an incident the previous night in City Lot 3 near Broadway Alley. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to await a court appearance.

9:15pm A false alarm in the 100 block of Plymouth St. was investigated.

9:51pm A report of subjects shooting a paintball gun from a vehicle in the area of Kerstetter Rd. was investigated.

10:03pm A resident in the 600 block of Plymouth St. reported 4 plastic lawn chairs stolen.

10:16pm Travis Poole, 20, and a juvenile female were arrested for underage consumption in the 400 block of N. Walnut St. He was issued with a criminal summons and released with a pending court appearance. The juvenile was release to a parent with an appearance in juvenile court pending.

Aug. 9

12:22am A false alarm in the 1200 block of Farmview Ave. was investigated.

12:29am A 17 year old boy was cited for driving without a valid license. He was issued with a citation and released to his mother.

1:27am A traffic warning was given in the area of Marion Rd. and Kilbourne Dr.

1:47am A 17 year old boy was arrested for curfew violation in the vicinity of Plymouth St. and Wingert St. He was released to his mother.

5:16am A report of a possible drug abuse is under investigation.

6:33am Officers investigated a domestic issue in the 200 block of Gaius St.

6:39am Officers investigated a reported larceny in the 200 block of Inez St.

7:31am A false alarm was received from the 800 block of Arrowhead Dr.

8:50am Officers made a welfare check in the 300 block of W. Beal Ave.

8:58am An audible alarm in the Huggins subdivision was not located before it reset.

1:12pm Officers assisted Seneca County Sheriff’s Office attempting to locate an individual for their agency in the 800 block of Wilbur St.

1:31pm A report of a trespasser in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave. was investigated.

2:33pm Officers checked the parking lot around Family Dollar for a suspicious vehicle driving around for the last 20 minutes. The vehicle was part of an arranged civil visitation.

3:13pm A syringe found in the area of Plymouth and Beverly Drive was disposed of by officers.

3:58pm A Bucyrus resident came to the police department to report her rear license plate GCL2424 missing from her vehicle.

4:47pm A report of a possible intoxicated driver in the area of Mansfield and Poplar Street was investigated. The vehicle and suspect driver were located in the 100 block of N. Poplar St. The driver was taken into custody for investigation of OVI.

5:53pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Whetstone and Southern Avenue.

6:45pm A report of an assault complaint involving juveniles in the 500 block of Wilbur Street was investigated.

6:47pm A domestic disturbance at the Bucyrus Community Hospital was investigated. Advice was given on process for a civil protection order.

7:23pm A resident in the 500 block of Failor Street reported being threatened by someone he knows.

7:26pm Officer responded to a report of kids throwing rocks in the alleyway off the 500 block of S. Poplar St.

7:56pm A report of an erratic and speeding driver in the 100 block of W. Irving Street was received. The vehicle was located at a residence.

8:00pm A customer at FC Bank reported leaving his ATM card in the machine.

8:07pm Officers assisted EMS personnel at Aumiller Park.

8:53pm Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 900 block of Failor Street.
