Friday
7:22 a.m. — A misdemeanor warrant out of Richland County was served in the 300 block of North Columbus Street.
12:29 p.m. — A fraud complaint was reported at United Bank in Galion.
5:59 p.m — Police were called to the 200 block of Sixth Avenue after a caller reported a very drunk person fell and “busted their head open.” Galion EMS took the person to the hospital.
7:00 p.m. — A misdemeanor citation was issued to a person who had received treatment and was being combative at Galion Community Hospital.
8:56 p.m. — Police received a report of vandalism at South Park near the tennis courts.
9:41 p.m. — A person was taken to the police department until he count find a ride after reportedly being passed out in a front yard near South Boston and County Line Road.
Saturday
1:09 a.m. — Police, after responding to a suspicious activity in a vehicle in the 300 block of Pine Street, said the people in the vehicle were simply “keeping each other company.”
5:29 a.m. — After responding to a disturbance in the 300 block of West Atwood Street, officers issued criminal warnings for disorderly conduct to two people.
10:18 a.m. — Police took a report on a possible protection order violation in the 400 block of North Market Street.
3:16 p.m. — A report of a drunk person walking in the street near Harding Way East and South Street resulted in a warning and a threat of arrest next time police are called.
9:02 p.m. — A caller in the 200 block of Clymer reported someone in the house while she was in another part of the house. Police checked the house, and found no one.
Sunday
2:38 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a large fight in the 400 block of Libby Lane. When they got there, no one wanted to press charges. Several people received warnings for disorderly conduct.
10:20 a.m. — Officers were unable to confirm a report of kids shooting BB guns in the area of Grove Avenue and Boston Street.
11:32 a.m. — A resident in the 700 block of South Boston told police a dog was poisoned, but thinks it was a result of spraying for mosquitoes.
3:10 p.m. — Police notified a resident in the 200 block of North Columbus Street that their dog was on the roof.
8:56 p.m. — A person reported being sexually assaulted in an alley off Harding Way East. She was taken to Galion Community Hospital and information was taken for a report.
Monday
6:35 a.m.— Galion Community Hospital reported a suicidal male who was becoming difficult to handle.
9:21 a.m.— A manager at Discount Drug Mart reported that a cashier had been touched in the face by a male customer and may want to file a report.
11:43 a.m. — A caller from Galion Arms Apartments reported a verbal dispute in the building.
4:09 p.m. — A Third Avene resident reported that her step-daughter was missing. The girl was found to be safe and with her grandfather.
4:35 p.m. — A resident in the area of East Payne Street reported multiple instances of the lug nuts being loosened on their car. A report was not filed.
8:33 p.m. — A caller reported guns stolen from their property on East Payne Avenue. Information taken for report.
9:47 p.m. — A resident of East Atwood Street reported the theft of a small wallet and car charger from their vehicle. A neighbor reportedly caught the suspect and the property was returned. The victim declined to file charges.
