7:17am A report of an injured raccoon in the Reid, Whetstone St. area was checked on. Responding officer located the animal and coaxed it away from the area.

7:23am A false alarm was received in the 900 block of Hopley Ave.

9:33am A resident of Bucyrus Plaza reported larceny of medication.

9:39am Officers assisted Children Services employees in the 400 block of Stevens Court.

9:40am Officers investigated a report of vandalism in the 900 block of Sherman St.

10:25am A false alarm in the 500 block of Sears St. was investigated.

11:34am An Earl St. resident reported a battery stolen from his residence.

12:12pm Officer conducted a traffic stop on E. Mansfield St. near Iron St. and William Dean, 27, Bucyrus, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County.

12:54pm A two vehicle collision in the 300 block of N. Walnut Street was investigated. A traffic citation was issued.

1:02pm A resident in the 900 block of Sherman Street reported a theft from his residence.

1:07pm A syringe found on W. Perry St. was disposed of by officers.

2:50pm A disturbance between neighbors in the 900 block of Earl Street was investigated.

4:14pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at Hurst Auto Body.

4:25pm A report of a stop sign hit by a truck in the area of Kilbourne and Walnut Street was investigated.

4:31pm A Bucyrus resident came to the Police Department to report receiving threats from someone they know.

5:42pm A resident came to the Police Department to report a domestic incident. The incident was found to have happened outside the city limits and he was referred to the Sheriff Office to file a report.

6:04pm Officer investigating a complaint in the 300 block of W. Charles St. served a criminal summons.

6:20pm Officer conducted a traffic stop on E. Warren St. The driver, Lance Eimer, 27, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.

7:41pm Officer responded to Kroger to meet with a caller that reported his wallet missing. The caller, Carl Wiggins, 32, was arrested on a warrant out of Marysville Police Department. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held.

7:50pm A verbal domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Wayne Avenue was investigated. Officer located the couple walking near S. Highland Ave. and E. Mansfield St.

8:05pm A one vehicle collision involving a power pole behind Wendy’s was investigated. Bucyrus Fire Department and AEP responded to assist.

8:16pm A resident in the 700 block of Earl Street reported her son assaulted by another child. The parents were spoken to and advised they would take care of the problem.

8:18pm A report of possible child abuse is under investigation.

8:22pm A resident in the 600 block of Hill Street reported trespassing at a residence he formally shared.

9:01pm A resident in the 1600 block of Marion Road wanted to make a report about a disturbance from last week.

9:39pm A traffic citation was issued in the 1800 block of Marion Road.

9:50pm A false alarm at Kentucky Fried Chicken was investigated.

10:22pm Officer checked on a report of a light on that normally is not on at a home on Gaius Street. Nothing was amiss.

11:32pm A bicycle left at UDF was brought to the Police Department. The owner came to the department to pick up the bike.

11:39pm A false alarm in the 1200 block of Monnett Street was investigated.

Aug. 6

2:17am Officer responded to a domestic argument in the 900 block of S. East Street. The matter was resolved when one of the parties left for the night.
