7:05am A false alarm was received from the 1000 block of Martha Ave.

7:08am A report of an intoxicated male on Wallace Ave. was unfounded.

7:47am A domestic problem in the 1700 block of Whetstone St. was investigated. It was a verbal dispute, no assaults or threats reported.

9:58am A motorist was cited for driving under suspension in the 500 block of S. Highland Ave.

11:11am Officers warned a motorist in the area of Wallace and Walnut Streets.

11:24am Officers took a theft report in the 1300 block of Edgewood Dr.

11:40am An officer stood by to protect the demolition scene in the 300 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

11:51am A disturbance at the Bucyrus Auto Laundry was mediated and subjects cleaned up their trash to resolve the matter.

1:15pm A traffic complaint in the 900 block of Whetstone Street was investigated and a notice for junk vehicle was served.

2:36pm A report of kids smoking behind the Bucyrus Public Library was unfounded. The people located were over 18 years old.

2:59pm A parking complaint in the 100 block of E. Charles Street was checked and no parking violation was seen.

3:41pm Officers conducted a traffic stop near E. Charles St. and S. Walnut St. Passenger, Braxton Smith, 18, was arrested for possession of marijuana. He was issued a citation and released.

4:27pm Officers attempted to locate a subject with a warrant in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Avenue.

5:45pm A minor private property collision at Kroger parking lot was investigated.

6:01pm A 9-1-1 open line was investigated at BPT. No one was located needing assistance in the area.

9:19pm A complaint of loud music in the 900 block of Elm Street was received. There was no violation heard.

9:27pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of N. Sandusky and Irving Street.

9:53pm A traffic warning was issued in the 400 block of N. Walnut Street.

9:59pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of E. Charles and Jones Street.

10:06pm A report of possible child abuse in the area of Hopley and East Street was investigated. The child was found to be fine.

10:24pm Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 200 block of Songer Avenue.

10:42pm Officer assisted a pedestrian in the 600 block of S. Sandusky Ave. and a summons was served.

10:49pm Officer assisted a pedestrian in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St.

11:27pm A report of a barking dog in the 300 block of Wallace Ave. was received. The dogs were inside a residence and bystanders had not heard any dogs barking.

11:32pm A report of suspicious persons in the 900 block of Hopley Ave. was received. The subjects were gone upon officer’s arrival.

11:38pm Officers assisted a person locked out of their vehicle in the 100 block of W. Charles St.

11:51pm An officers assisted a disabled motorist in the area of Beal and Sandusky.

Aug. 4

12:04am Officers assisted hospital personnel with a disorderly patient.

12:49am A report of possible child abuse was investigated.

12:56am A Wheeler Ave. resident reported vandalism to his vehicle.

12:57am A 12 year old female was reported missing by her parents. She was later located and will be summoned to juvenile court for curfew violation.

2:12am A report of suspicious activity in the area of Bucyrus Plaza was unfounded.

2:19am An adult was reported missing from the 400 block of E. Lucas St. The individual later returned home.

2:41am A Wiley St. resident reported vandalism to his vehicle.

7:03am Officers check the 700 block of S. Sandusky Ave. for a reported injured person. No one was located.

7:04am Officers made a civil standby in the 1100 block of Monnett St.

7:04am Officers mediated a child exchange in the 1100 block of Monnett St.

10:27am A private property collision was investigated in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

10:46am An abandoned junk vehicle was towed from the 200 block of E. Beal Ave.

12:42pm A report of an injured squirrel in the Bucyrus Plaza area was checked.

1:16pm Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout at Bucyrus Precision Tech.

1:41pm A report of a disturbance in the 100 block of Wiley St. was investigated.

1:50pm Nicholas Biederman, 29, Bucyrus, was located in the area of S. East St. and E. Warren St. and arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County and drug possession. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center.

2:46pm Branden Kitzmiller, 27, was arrested on charges of theft. He was issued a summons to appear in court and was released.

3:14pm An E. Mansfield St. resident reported receiving threatening messages.

4:17pm Officers attempted to deliver a message in the 300 block of W. Warren St.

4:36pm Officers assisted a parent with an unruly juvenile in the 600 block of Beverly Dr.

4:51pm Officer made a traffic stop for expired license plate on N. Sandusky Ave. near Plymouth St. Janette Fleming, 40, was arrested on charges of Possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and two Crawford County warrants. She was transported to Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

5:44pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Tiffin and Hill St.

5:46pm A vandalism report was taken in the 400 block of Hopley Av.

6:48pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the area of East and Woodlawn Av.

7:28pm Los Arrieros on Marion Rd. reported two patrons had a meal and they left the restaurant without paying. The subjects fled to the area of Bucyrus Plaza and W. Beal Ave. and were located walking out of a corn field. Brad Sinnes, 26, and Takiyah Wright, 18, were arrested on theft charges and were issued summonses to appear in court.

7:42pm Officer responded to a residence on Monnett Street for a report that someone had killed her cat.

8:33pm A report of juveniles trespassing in the 700 block of E. Rensselaer St. was received and the subjects were located.

8:49pm A traffic warning was issued in the area of Whetstone and Warren St.

8:54pm Officers responded to a hang-up 911 call in the vicinity of Reid and Ethel St. The parties involved were located and it was a domestic argument and no complaint of assaults or threats were made.

9:04pm Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint on Hill St. Bryan Awbrey and Kristen Weatherbee were arrested on charges of domestic violence in the 600 block of Hill St. They were both transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

9:58pm Officer made a welfare check on Prospect St.

10:02pm Officer responded to a report of loud music in the area of Willard and Schaber St. and the resident was located and turned the volume down.

11:23pm A report of suspicious people in the area of Prospect and Hopley Avenue was investigated.

Aug. 5

12:12am A report of a possible prowler in the area of TJ’s Auto Sales was investigated. It turned out to be a resident in the area.

12:20am A resident on S. Highland Avenue reported a trespassing at his residence.

12:56am A resident in the 900 block of Woodlawn Avenue reported a silver/blue 24 inch “Giant” mountain bike stolen from this property.

1:46am A report of an erratic driver coming into town on Marion Road was received and the vehicle was located parked at a residence.

2:33am An assault near Washington Square was reported.

3:03am A 9-1-1 hang up call from the 300 block of E. Charles Street was found to be a dispute between a couple over personal property in a car.
