Thursday

9:15 a.m. — A resident on Park Ave called report that their driveway was blocked by their neighbor’s camper.

9:18 a.m. — An employee of Dollar General on HWE reported finding a bag of marijuana in the store.

9:43 a.m. — Crawford County Sheriff’s Office reported receiving multiple 911 hang ups from a residence at Galion Arms apartments. No answer at suspected apartment, and residents reported not hearing or seeing any issues.

10:32 a.m. — A resident in the area of Orange St reported hearing a man and woman walking by who were arguing. They walked towards the hospital but were not found.

2:19 p.m.— It was reported that a car was hit while parked in its driveway overnight in the 300 block of S Washington St.

5:24 p.m.— Resident of W Payne Ave reported their child found some property at the end of an alley that might be from car break-ins. Police collected items.

6:05 p.m.— Report of someone unresponsive in a car in the area of Harding Way East. The person was only resting and waiting on family.

6:23 p.m.— Caller reported a car dumping trash on the sidewalk on S. Market St.

7:59 p.m.— Report of bike stolen off of porch on N Washington St.

Friday

12:11 p.m.— Report of a fight in a parking lot on HWE. One person taken into custody.

1:18 p.m.— Apple Lane employee reported 4 kids pushing each other in a wheelchair at Heise Park pool. Kids had the wheelchair on the diving board. Police spoke to pool manager.

3:44 p.m.— Galion Post Master called to report a postal carrier had been involved in an accident on HWW.

4:21 p.m.— Resident called to report a woman staggering near the road in the area of Craig Smith Auto Group on St Rt 309.

4:32 p.m.— Auto accident reported on St Rt 309 at Jen-Cor gas station. No injuries.

6:48 p.m. — Police notified of an argument in the 400 block of Grand St. No charges filed.

Saturday

10:52 a.m.— Crawford County Sheriff’s Office requested help locating a loose cow in the Nazor Road area near St Rt 97.

12:04 p.m.— A temporary license tag was found in the area of W Church St.

3:21 p.m.— A dispute between residents in the 300 block of S Market St over property maintenance was reported.

4:48 p.m.— Two vehicle auto accident reported near the intersection of Sixth Ave and Smith St.

7:15 p.m.— Resident on Pierce St called to report receiving threatening message on social media.

8:21 p.m.— Police received a report of a juvenile jumping on a moving train in the are of E Walnut St.

10:43 p.m.— Resident on HWE reported someone in a vehicle smashing mailboxes.

11:46 p.m.— Report of possible intoxicated driver on Park Ave.

Sunday

12:20 p.m.— Residents on Switzer Dr reported smashed mailboxes.

12:34 p.m.— Report of spray paint on the windshield of a car on Wiggs Ct.

3:28 p.m.— Bicycle found in the creek in the 200 block of N Union St. Resident advised that Street Dept may access the creek from his property to retrieve it.

3:52 p.m.— Resident of Lutz Ct called to report a possible suicide attempt of a friend.

7:25 p.m.— Caller reported that their mailbox was smashed on Fairview Ave.

8:51 p.m.— A resident on N Liberty St called to report possible theft by her daughter’s boyfriend.

Friday

8:37 a.m. — Officers spoke with a subject on station regarding medication found on the ground. The medication turned out to be acetaminophen and was disposed of.

10:43 a.m. — A Norton Way resident reported her wallet taken from her unlocked vehicle last evening. The wallet was later recovered, missing $12 cash.

11:59 a.m. — Officers spoke with subjects on station regarding a possible domestic issue.

12:46 p.m. — Subjects came on station to report possible child abuse. Officers are investigating.

1:54 p.m. — A child custody issue was investigated in the 900 block of Maple St.

2:14 p.m. — A domestic dispute in the 400 block of W Warren St. was investigated.

2:40 p.m. — A Mary St resident reported her purse stolen from her unlocked vehicle while parked in the area of Lucas and Rogers St. The purse was recovered soon after, missing $25 in cash.

3:25 p.m. — Officers attempted to locate a subject with a warrant near Washington St. The subject ran into a wooded area and an officer and K-9 pursued. Michael Black, 19, was arrested in the area of Woodbine St on a Crawford County warrant. He was taken to Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court. Officers also located stolen property, a stolen ATV and other evidence.

3:52 p.m. — A private property accident was investigated at Kroger.

4:23 p.m. — A possible child abuse was reported.

4:43 p.m. — A theft report was taken in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield St.

4:43 p.m. — A report of a shoplifting at Walmart is under investigation.
