COLUMBUS — The Ohio State University presented Donna Hight, Chief Student Life and Retention Officer for the last 12 years at The Ohio State University at Mansfield, with a Distinguished Staff Award during a luncheon in Columbus on May 1.

The award is given annually to 12 individuals for their outstanding achievements, leadership and dedication to The Ohio State University. The award also recognizes staff who have helped to provide significant solutions to problems in the OSU operations.

“It is a real honor,” Donna said. “The award acknowledges all of the hard work by the Student Life staff and the faculty/staff on the entire Mansfield campus.”

Before her tenure at OSU-Mansfield, she worked in various roles at the University of Georgia, the University of South Carolina, and several campuses of the University of North Carolina system.
