GALION — Galion Community Foundation’s 13th annual fundraiser on May 13 includes a special tribute to Steve Erlsten, who died Oct. 10, 2016, at home after a three-year battle with Multiple Myeloma.

The Crazy Gringos will headline the 6 p.m. show May 13 at Galion Moose Lodge 303, in the family center at 520 S. Market St. Erlsten played with the group for many years.

Admission to the program and fundraiser is $10, and tickets will be available at the door.

Food and beverages will be provided by the Moose and will be available for purchase. There also will be a silent action and a 50-50 drawing.

Proceeds will benefit the local scholarships and charitable organizations.

The public is invited to attend this special event as the foundation remembers Erlsten, a friend, supporter and a great gringo.

The Galion Community Foundation was formed in 1957. It is a charitable organization pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations are tax deductible.
