GALION – Galion City Schools students will enjoy an extended spring break this school year.
The break begins Wednesday, April 12 with students returning to classes Wednesday, April 19.
The school board approved the extension of spring break to allow more time for professional development for the district’s staff.
“These additional professional development days are important for our staff because it helps them learn new ways to help our students reach their maximum potential,” said Superintendent Jim Grubbs.
Parents and families are advised that there will be a two-hour delayed start when students return to classes April 19.
If you have any questions about the extended spring break or two hour delayed start, please contact your child’s school or call the district’s Administrative Center at 419-468-3432.
