According to city officials, work has commenced on an electric line upgrade in the Hessenauer Subdivision.

As the Electric Line Department moves to get the outdated transformers and wiring changed over to the new system, there will be periodic outages, some for up to two hours.

Expect to see Line Department employees and their equipment in the area, including on both public and private properties.

The work is expected to be completed in one week.
