6:08 a.m.-A report of a breaking and entering at a residence in the 300 block of Third Avenue was investigated.

6:15 a.m.-A reckless driver was reported in the Portland Way North area.

9:04 a.m.-A dealer plate found in the East Atwood Street area was brought to the police department.

1:41 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 100 block of Harding Way East.

1:56 p.m.-A Galion Arms resident reported the theft of an X-Box from their apartment.

3:15 p.m.-An injury accident was investigated in the 1200 block of Ohio 598.

4:01 p.m.-A hit-skip accident was investigated in the 700 block of Harding Way West.

5:12 p.m.-A Hess Street resident reported receiving harassing text messages.

5:38 p.m.-A report of an assault was investigated in the 500 block of South Boston Street.

5:52 p.m.-A cable line down in the roadway in the 200 block of East Church Street was removed by officers.

7:01 p.m.-A report of a suspicious woman asking to see residents’ gas bills in the Fifth Avenue area was investigated.

March 8

1:02 a.m.-A report of a suspicious person and loud banging noise was investigated in the South Union Street area.

7:40 a.m.-A chain attached to a dog became stuck on a vehicle as the dog ran past in the McClure Street area.

12:26 p.m.-Natalie E. Davis was arrested on a Crawford County warrant for failure to appear in the 500 block of East Church Street.

3:32 p.m.-A hit-skip accident was investigated in the 800 block of Harding Way East.

3:48 p.m.-A tree that had fallen on the railroad tracks in the Sherman Street area was removed by the Galion Fire Department and CSX was contacted.

4:24 p.m.-A report of a tree that fell on a car from high winds was investigated in the 200 block of North Washington Street.

5:06 p.m.-Kimberly K. Jackson was issued a citation for speeding in the North Market and Grant Street area.

6:31 p.m.-A hit-skip accident was investigated in the McDavid Drive area.

Bucyrus Police

March 7

7:02 a.m.- Officers made a welfare check on a West Irving Street resident.

7:21 a.m.- A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Ann and Myers Streets was investigated.

9:57 a.m.- Officers assisted Life Support Team Ambulance in the 1500 block of West Southern Avenue.

10:39 a.m.- Cody A Walter, 20, was arrested in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue on an active Crawford County Warrant. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

12:22 p.m.- Officers made a welfare check on East Rensselaer Street residents.

1:16 p.m.- Three income tax summons were served in the 700 block of Rogers Street.

2:20 p.m.- A subject came to the station to report possible child abuse.

4:26 p.m.- Officers investigated a report of a disorderly person in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street.

4:28 p.m.- Officers investigated a report of a disorderly person in the k600 block of North Sandusky Avnue.

5:28 p.m.- A report of loud music was investigated in the Bucyrus Plaza area.

8:34 p.m.- A theft report was made at the police department.

9:12 p.m.- Dustin Cundiff, 36, was arrested in the 400 block of East Rensselaer Street on a Crawford County warrant when officers were called to the area for a civil standby. He was issued a court date to appear and released.

10:29 p.m.- Officers conducted a welfare check in the 300 block of East Charles Street.

10:32 p.m.- Officers assisted EMS in the 100 block of Dudley Street.

March 8

12:47 a.m.- Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department at Heritage Circle.

1:41 a.m.- A resident in the 300 block of Nora Street reported hearing noises at her front door.

3:19 a.m.- A report of loud music in the area of West Charles and South Spring Streets was investigated.

10:04 a.m.- Four income tax summons were served at the Bucyrus Police Department.

11:27 a.m.- A private property accident report was taken in the Kroger parking lot.

12:29 p.m.- Officers spoke with a resident at the station regarding juvenile issues.

1:57 p.m.- Angela R Chatman, 45, was arrested in the 1400 block of East Mansfield Street on a Crawford County warrant. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.

2:22 p.m.- Officers checked the area of Mansfield and Mary Streets for reported gravel that had been dumped there.

2:45 p.m.- Officers assisted the water department in the 300 block of East Charles Street.

3:05 p.m.- A Bucyrus resident brought her grandson to the police department to speak to officers about the consequences of fighting.

3:15 p.m.- Officers assisted the Bucyrus Street Department block off the roadway in the area of Spring and Mansfield Streets for a utility pole cracking and leaning into the roadway. The utility company was contacted and braced the pole.

3:31 p.m.- AEP was advised of a leaning power pole in the 1400 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

4:34 p.m.- A homeowner in the 800 block of Woodlawn Avenue was contacted about glass and gutters blowing into the roadway from his property. He advised he would take care of the issue.

4:42 p.m.- A resident in the 200 block of Emerson Street reported that she and her children were assaulted by a group of juveniles in the area.

5:24 p.m.- A resident in the 600 block of West Charles Street reported her rear vehicle window shattered.

5:34 p.m.- A resident in the 200 block of West Charles Street wanted to turn in a camera he found in the area.

5:48 p.m.- A report of an erratic driver in the area of Southern and Sandusky Avenues was investigated. The information was passed along to OSP troopers after the vehicle left town before officers could locate it.

5:52 p.m.- An employee at Ley’s Jewelry reported damage around the back door of the business.

6:04 p.m.- A resident in the 600 block of Prospect Street reported her front window broken by some neighborhood children.

6:39 p.m.- Charles Reese, 53, was arrested on a charge of violating a civil protection order. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

6:41 p.m.- Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 200 block of South Spring Street.

7:53 p.m.- Officers assisted a Crawford County Probation Officer with an arrest for a probation violation in the 500 block of Failor Street.

9:17 p.m.- A report of a disabled vehicle on the railroad tracks in the 100 block of North Spring Street was investigated. Norfolk Southern was notified to hold all trains in the area while a tow truck was called in to move the vehicle.

9:34 p.m.- Officers attempted a welfare check on a resident in the 300 block of East Mansfield Street.

10:21 p.m.- Officers assisted a State Trooper with a stolen vehicle in the area of Maple and Plymouth Streets.

11:34 p.m.- A resident in the 800 block of Beverly Drive reported things hitting her windows and siding.

March 9

2:53 a.m.- A report of a speeder coming into the city on Ohio 98 was investigated.

3:44 a.m.- A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Woodlawn Avenue was investigated.
