GALION — The City of Galion will begin hydrant flushing Wednesday, Feb. 22, in the southwest quadrant of the city, south of Harding Way and west of Market Street. Flushing is conducted to ensure water quality.

Residents nearby may experience a temporary decrease in water pressure. If your water looks cloudy, run faucets for a short period of time to help clear the lateral feeding your home. Each quadrant will take a minimum of two weeks to complete, as weather permits. The city will announce when it moves to the next quadrant.
