BUCYRUS — A fatal fire in Bucyrus is under investigation by Bucyrus Fire and Police Departments, along with the State Fire Marshal’s office.

The fire occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, at an apartment located at 250 W. Beal Ave., the residence of Karen Pollock.

Pollock was taken to tThe Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, where she later died. Her body was taken to the Franklin County coroner’s office for an autopsy.

No other information has been released.
