BUCYRUS — A Galion man was back in court last week after violating the terms of his probation.

Tristan L. Lucas, 21, admitted that on Sept. 17 he refused to submit to a test after consuming alcohol after being arrested by Galion Police for disorderly conduct and criminal damaging after hitting his head on a wall. He pleaded guilty to the community control violations and was sentenced to three years in prison.

Lucas was one of three men involved in a robbery at Freezer Fresh in Crestline during the summer of 2015. He was placed on three years of community control in February for his role in the crime.

Amy J. Heefner, 35, Hilliard, was sentenced to seven years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of aggravated robbery stemming from incidents that occurred on Aug. 24 and 25. Judge Sean Leuthold ordered that both cases were to run concurrent with each other and Heefner is currently serving a three-year prison sentence for a crime she was convicted of in another county.

Jason Lawrence, 30, Bucyrus, had a four-year prison sentence re-imposed after pleading guilty to community control violations.

On Oct. 14, 2016, Lawrence allegedly had tested positive for opiates, Oxycontin and cocaine. Lawrence also allegedly was found with drug paraphernalia including a spoon, syringe and a marijuana cigarette.

Lawrence was convicted of having weapons under disability, a third-degree felony, in 2009.
