Brick dedication at HomeCare Matters

GALION — HomeCare Matters Home Health and Hospice head its annual brick dedication Oct. 13.

The ceremony was in the memorial garden behind HomeCare Matters, 1220 N. Market St. , Galion. Fourteen bricks were dedicated. They included five bricks laid in memory of loved ones and nine bricks laid in honor of retired employees with 10 or more years of service.

The ceremony was officiated by CEO Bert Maglott. Pastor Dwayne Castle of Galion Tabernacle of Praise gave the invocation and dedication. He was followed by public relations and volunteer coordinator Lindsey Kuns, who gave a special reading of Linda Ellis’s “The Dash” Dagmar Hancock, CFO, read the names of each individual being remembered and honored.

Bricks were dedicated in memory of: Wanda Roe, Ruth Falter, Brigitte Bibb, Fred C. Leone and Rosalie Jean Pierce.

Bricks were dedicated in honor of Betty Speck, Carol Troiano, Denise Maglott, Patricia Callentine, Regina Snyder, Ruth Butler, Sandra Garrett, Sandra Irey, and Shari Main.

Memorial bricks, trees and benches can be purchased throughout the year.

The next brick dedication service will be in the fall of 2017.
