GALION – Galion City Schools has announce a partnership with Step By Step Learning® to help improve the academic outcomes of all Galion students.
Step By Step Learning® is a literacy and professional development consulting company focused on implementing the best and most effective practices to accelerate students to reading and understanding grade level text.
With 20 years of personalized, hands-on, in-classroom experience, Step By Step Learning® provides proven strategies and solutions that accelerate those schools with reading and math delayed students to quality education performance levels.
“Learning to read in the early years — kindergarten through third grade — is critical to the future success you can attain in life,” said Michael Grabarits, CEO of Step By Step Learning®. “During our primary years, PreK to grade 3, we learn the fundamental skills that lead us to be able to recognize speech to print and eventually read, and as we advance into middle school, high school, and college, we read to learn. A child’s ability to read is the foundational skill that is the most important contributor to their success in life.”
