July 15

8:57am A traffic warning was given to a motorist in the 1500 block of S. Sandusky Ave. for manner of driving.

9:04am Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout in the 100 block of W. Rensselaer.

12:02pm Samuel L. Shepherd, 34, Bucyrus, was arrested in the 300 block of Lawn Ave. on a felony warrant. He had been hiding out in an attic at a residence in that area. Children services assisted with an endangering children complaint and welfare check at a residence the individual had been staying.

12:13pm A report of a stolen vehicle in the 400 block of Woodlawn Ave. was unfounded. It had been repossessed.

2:03pm A report of a semi in the 1700 block of E. Mansfield St. with no tail lights was investigated.

2:46pm A resident of Bucyrus Estates requested assistance because she was having difficulty with unruly juveniles in her care.

3:24pm A report of people screaming and yelling in the 500 block of S. East St. was investigated. It was found to be a verbal argument between a niece and her aunt.

3:44pm A report of a young juvenile being left alone at Bucyrus Plaza was investigated. The child was in custody of a parent.

5:27pm Officer responded to a report of trespassing and theft from a motor vehicle and one adult male was arrested.

5:32pm Officers assisted Life Support with a suicidal and combative patient in the 500 block of Wedgewood Court.

5:54pm A minor collision on the Walmart parking lot was investigated.

6:07pm Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 2000 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

6:59pm Officers investigated an accident in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave. A black Chevy truck had struck a pole and the female driver left the area on foot. Tow service responded for the disabled vehicle and 7:12 p.m. The female involved was located lying on the ground in the 200 block of Woodlawn Ave. Nancy Myers, 51, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober and will be released with a pending court appearance.

7:14pm A report of a vehicle being entered in the parking lot of Bucyrus Community Hospital was unfounded; it was a false alarm of a vehicle security device.

8:13pm Officers responded to the 1500 block of N. Sandusky Ave. for a shoplifting complaint. Mark Bauer, 57, was arrested for theft and disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

9:01pm Officers checked a residence in the 500 block of S. Walnut St. for a stolen bicycle.

9:19pm A report of a possible gunshot in the 800 block of S. Sandusky Ave. was checked and was a lawn mower that backfired.

9:38pm A report of juveniles’ roller skating in the street in the area of S. Poplar St. and W. Charles St. in traffic was checked.

10:42pm An minor collision in the parking lot of Bucyrus Precision Tech was investigated.

11:07pm Officers conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of E. Mary St.

11:12pm Officers conducted a welfare check in the 600 block of Garnet Court.

July 16

12:26am Officers conducted an escort in the Songer Ave. area.

1:07am A resident in the 400 block of Wallace Ave. reported their cable cut.

1:11am A report of 2 suspicious males in the 200 block of Woodlawn Ave. was investigated.

1:20am Officers on patrol investigated 2 male patrons causing a disturbance at Circle K in the 300 block of S. Lane St.

1:45am A breaking and entering in the 300 block of N. Sandusky Ave. was investigated.
