Aug. 26

12:32 a.m.-A report of two people sleeping at the gazebo on Public Square was investigated.

12:59 a.m.-A report of a missing juvenile girl was investigated. She was later located in a vehicle in the Harding Way Gelsanliter Road area.

7:53 a.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 200 block of Harding Way West. Marisa Carafelli was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.

9:15 a.m.-A report of vandalism to a satellite dish at a residence in the 1500 block of Trachsel Place was investigated.

10:11 a.m.-A non-injury accident in the 100 block of East Parson Street was investigated. Ricky A. Bowman was issued a citation for right of way when turning left.

11:53 a.m.-A verbal dispute in the 300 block of Oak Street was investigated.

4:26 p.m.-A neighborhood dispute in the 100 block of First Avenue was investigated.

6:36 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 600 block of South Union Street.

8:47 p.m.-A resident reported medication stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of Portland Way North.

9:28 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 600 block of Crew Avenue.

10:09 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile in the 300 block of Eighth Avenue was investigated.

Aug. 27

12:30 p.m.-A domestic dispute in the 600 block of Crew Avenue was investigated.

3:06 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the 300 block of South Washington Street.

11:58 p.m.-A resident in the 300 block of Sixth Avenue reported receiving harassing phone calls.

Aug. 28

4:07 a.m.-Joshua K. Deel was issued citations for driving under suspension and fictitious registration on Portland Way South. He was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

6:17 p.m.-A domestic disturbance in the 1200 block of Harding Way East was investigated.

11:23 p.m.-A disturbance in the 600 block of Fairview Avenue was investigated.

Bucyrus Police

Aug. 26

11:29 a.m.- Sarah R Thornton, 25, was arrested in the area of Reid Street and charged with shoplifting from a complainant at Family Dollar. She was released pending a court appearance.

2:16 p.m.- A report of a large bird that was possibly injured in Picking Park was investigated. The bird was a hawk that had settled on top of a building in the area. It seemed fine.

4:06 p.m.- A bicycle was reported stolen from the Bucyrus Public Library.

4:19 p.m.- Two bicycles were reported stolen from the 200 block of North Sandusky Avenue. One was later located and returned to the owner.

4:19 p.m.- Todd Kinn, 44, was arrested in the 300 block of Woodlawn Avenue on three Crawford County warrants. He was issued a court date to appear.

4:25 p.m.- A small pickup truck was reportedly weaving on the road eastbound towards Bucyrus on County Road 330. The vehicle was located in the 900 block of West Perry Street. The occupants from Hardin County had been using marijuana and consuming alcohol beverages while traveling. Nicole Baker, 29, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana and marijuana drug paraphernalia. She was issued citations for all charges and released to a sober party.

4:31 p.m.- Officers investigated the report of possible drug activity in the 400 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

6:44 p.m.- A theft report was taken in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street.

6:58 p.m.- Officers attempted to deliver a message for the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department.

9:26 p.m.- Officers investigated a disturbance in the area of Mansfield and Spring Streets.

9:43 p.m.- Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint on the 700 block of Plymouth Street. Zachary Bishop, 26, was arrested on charges of domestic violence. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice center to be held for court.

11:35 p.m.- A domestic disturbance in the 1100 block of South East Street was mediated.

11:53 p.m.- A Bucyrus resident came to the police department to speak to an officer about harassing messages her daughter is receiving.

11:55 p.m.- Officers were dispatched to a report of an altercation in an alley in the 200 block of South Sandusky Ave. Shaun Rice, 32, was arrested on charges of domestic violence. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

Aug. 27

12:12 a.m.- Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of South Walnut Street regarding a loud disturbance. Upon arrival, an individual was wielding a shovel. Michael Blum, 47, was arrested on charges of domestic violence. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

12:28 a.m.- A domestic disturbance in the 700 block of South East Street was resolved with one party gathering belongings and leaving the area.

1:04 a.m.- A report of possible gunshots in the area of Maple and Irving Streets was investigated.

2:48 a.m.- A report of a possible drunk driver in the area of Warren and Walnut Streets was investigated. The vehicle was parked and unoccupied when located by officers.

4:03 a.m.- Officers responded to a dispute in the street in the 300 block of East Charles Street and Paul Hall, 27, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct. He was issued a summons to appear in court and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

9:55 a.m.- Officers took a minor non-injury crash report at the intersection of Plymouth Street and Sandusky Avenue.

12:07 a.m.- A report of a dog left in a car in the Kroger parking lot was investigated.

12:43 p.m.- Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 400 block of West Mansfield Street and a parking citation was issued.

1:10 p.m.- A parking citation was issued in the Walmart parking lot.

1:24 p.m.- A minor collision report was taken in the 900 block of Rogers Street.

4:14 p.m.- Officers investigated a report of a dog bite. It was found to have occurred outside of the city and was referred to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

4:23 p.m.- A report of a reckless driver in the 1500 block of North Sandusky Avenue was checked.

5:04 p.m.- A report of juveniles throwing things into the street in the 100 block of Whetstone Street was investigated. The children were escorted to their residence.

5:45 p.m.- Officers conducted a welfare check in the 300 block of East Lucas Street.

6:18 p.m.- Officers assisted a parent with an unruly juvenile at Bucyrus Plaza.

8:44 p.m.- A report of four small juveniles riding their bicycles in circles under the railroad overpass was checked and the children’s parent contacted.

9:22 p.m.- Officers assisted Life Support in the 600 block of East Oakwood Avenue.

11:10 p.m.- A report of two intoxicated males walking around Woodbine Apartments was investigated.

Aug. 28

12:04 a.m.- Officers responded with Life Support Team Ambulance and Bucyrus Fire to the 200 block of Wayne Avenue for a drug overdose incident. One adult male and one adult female were treated and both are in custody with charges pending.

12:20 a.m.- Shawnda Sexton, 27, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. She was issued a date to appear in court and released.

2:10 a.m.- Officers investigated a suspicious male in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street.

2:26 a.m.- Ray Ferguson, 40, was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

10:03 a.m.- Officers received a domestic violence complaint from the 1100 block of East Warren Street. Marcus Alexander, 51, was arrested and charged with domestic violence. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.

10:42 a.m.- Janette Fleming, 41, was arrested in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue on a Crawford County warrant. She was also served with one summons for fail to file income tax. She was released pending a court appearance.

12:55 p.m.- A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Pines Reservoir was investigated. Officers spoke with subjects fishing in the reservoir.

12:57 p.m.- Officers took a private property parking lot collision report in the Kroger parking lot.

1:21 p.m.- A vehicle was towed from the 100 block of East Lucas Street for 48 hour parking violation.

3:52 p.m.- A report of a person skateboarding in the roadway on Marion Road was made.

6:09 p.m.- A disturbance was resolved in the 1500 block of East Mansfield Street. A juvenile had misplaced lawnmower keys.

6:36 p.m.- An animal complaint was investigated in the 400 block of Wallace Avenue.

6:45 p.m.- Officers assisted Life Support Team in the 500 block of Wedgewood Court.

6:59 p.m.- Officers and Life Support Team responded to Harmon Park for a medical issue and assisted one juvenile and another juvenile male was arrested.

7:29 p.m.- Officers assisted a person experiencing mental problems.

7:48 p.m.- A report of juveniles messing around with buses parked in the 100 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated.

7:57 p.m.- A report of an open door on a trailer in the 1500 block of East Mansfield Street was investigated.

8:06 p.m.- A report of a suspicious vehicle at the Bucyrus Airport was investigated.

9:50 p.m.- Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 600 block of Hopley Avenue.

10:00 p.m.- Officers investigated a domestic issue in the 300 block of Aumiller Drive.

10:09 p.m.- A report of someone throwing rocks at a trailer in the 500 block of Failor Street was unfounded.

10:24 p.m.- A report of a possible drunk driver in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated.
