One down, Cardington to go for Tiger football team

GALION — With a 49-7 win over Bucyrus last week, the Galion Tigers started the Matt Dick coaching era on a positive note, piling up 7 touchdowns before the Redmen could get onthe board.

But in Week 2, things won’t get any easier for the Tigers.

Galion will travel to Cardington on Friday to take on the 1-o Pirates.

Like Galion, Cardington had a pretty easy time with its opening-night opponent, dropping Worthington Christian 49-13, in Worthington.

Friday’s game kicks off at 7 p.m.
