CRESTLINE — The Crawford Park District is looking for families to camp for an evening at Lowe-Volk Park. The outing will be filled with fun, family activities. The big day is July 29. Lowe-Volk Park is on Ohio 598, just a couple miles north of Galion.
Come any time after 5 p.m. to pitch your tent around the pond. Registration starts at 7 p.m., with the fun and games starting at 7:30 p.m. Bring a treat or a dish to share with other campers. Programs will include yard games, a woodland night hike, fishing, a camp fire and more.
Call the Nature Center at 419-683-9000 to reserve your spot or for more information. All youth must be accompanied by an adult.

On Saturday, July 30, starting at 8:30 p.m. at Lowe-Volk Park, join park district volunteers and members of the Lowe-Volk Astronomy Club as they share their knowledge and telescope skills. Sky targets for July include the glorious M-13, the Great Hercules Globular Cluster; M-4, another more distant globular cluster; and Arcturus, a star hundreds of times larger than our star.
Bring your own telescope or use one that is provided.
