July 21

9:06 a.m.-Residents in the 700 block of Clay Street were informed about a city ordinance prohibiting using extension cords from one residence to another.

1:07 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the East Atwood Street area.

3 p.m.-Mariah Woods was issued a citation for speeding.

3:50 p.m.-A report of juveniles fighting at East Park was investigated.

3:54 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated on Portland Way North. Ashlie Hatcher was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.

4:31 p.m.-A report of an assault in the 200 block of Fifth Avenue was investigated.

5:04 p.m.-An employee at Discount Drug Mart reported a man scammed a cashier out of money. The incident is under investigation.

5:13 p.m.-A license plate was missing from Donley Ford.

6:53 p.m.-A resident in the 400 block of Grant Street reported finding a needle under bushes in the area.

9:41 p.m.-A resident in the 100 block of Myrtle Alley reported their home shot with a BB gun.

11:13 p.m.-A report of a disturbance in the 200 block of Third Avenue was investigated.

11:16 p.m.-A disturbance in the 400 block of Libby Lane was investigated.

11:48 p.m.-A report of kids yelling and jumping at the Galion Community Center turned out to be kids looking for Pokemon. They were advised of curfew laws.

Bucyrus Police

July 21

10:36 a.m.- Officers investigated 911 open line calls coming from the 700 block of Beverly Drive.

11:13 a.m.- Officers were unable to locate a reported speeder coming into Bucyrus on Ohio 4.

1:12 p.m.- A domestic problem in the 1500 block of East Mansfield Street was investigated.

3:16 p.m.- A report of a dog left alone in a vehicle off South Stetzer Road was investigated.

5:13 p.m.- A resident in the 1400 block of North Sandusky Avenue reported items moved around in the residence and a fan stolen.

5:36 p.m.- A customer at Indian Valley Laundromat became irate and began throwing things around after someone reportedly stole his laundry.

6:01 p.m.- A resident on Williams Street reported receiving a phone scammer trying to get money from him.

6:05 p.m.- A Bucyrus resident who reported her son’s bicycle stolen yesterday thought she saw someone on it in the area of Woodlawn Avenue and Walnut Street. It turned out to be a different bicycle.

6:53 p.m.- A report of possible child neglect was investigated.

7:25 p.m.- A report of motorcycles driving erratically in the area of Sandusky Avenue and Mary Street was investigated.

7:43 p.m.- A 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were both arrested for trespassing at the Bucyrus Elementary School. They were released to a guardian pending charges through Juvenile Court.

8:59 p.m.- Jimmy Peterman, 57, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released.

9:00 p.m.- A group of juveniles were warned for trespassing at the Bucyrus Elementary School.

9:29 p.m.- A Bucyrus resident reported receiving harassing phone calls from someone she knows. She was advised how to press charges if the calls continue.

11:20 p.m.- Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in the 1500 block of East Mansfield Street.

July 22

12:14 a.m.- A male was cited for driving under suspension in the 1600 block of East Mansfield Street.

1:07 a.m.- Officers on patrol investigated three suspicious vehicles at Aumiller Park. They were found to be catching Pokemon and were sent on their way.

2:59 a.m.- A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street was investigated. They were found to be waiting for a friend to get off work.

4:13 a.m.- A report of people refusing to leave a residence in the 300 block of East Warren Street was investigated.
