Dave and Emily (Tridico) Saurers will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house reception in their honor at the Crestline VFW from 4 to 8 p.m. on July 23. Friends and family are invited. Please omit gifts.
The Saurers’ were married in Monroe, Michigan, at The First Lutheran Church, by Rev. Fenner, on July 22, 1966.
Dave retired, as an engineer, from Norfolk Southern Railroad in 2007 after 39 years of service. Emily worked at Hallmark for 19 years until she retired as store manager in 2006.
They are the parents of three children: David Saurers Jr. (Beth Sheets) of Crestline, James Saurers (Sherry Frazier) of Bucyrus and Mike Saurers (Stephanie) of Galion.
They have nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
