Students from the Bucyrus Middle School will have the opportunity to enjoy a day of activities outside the classroom on Thursday. More than 128 students in grades six through eight will embark on the Honors Trip to Columbus.

Students qualified for the Honors Trip by maintaining a 3.0 grade point average, no F’s on their report card, five or less unexcused absences and no suspensions.

“I am incredibly proud of each of these students who earned the privilege of going on this Honors Trip,” Secondary School Associate Principal Jay Dennison said. “I hope each of them enjoys the day and realizes their attendance is a direct reflection of the hard work, focus and determination each of them puts on their education.”

Students will enjoy a visit to COSI, a behind-the-scenes tour of Ohio Stadium at The Ohio State University and lunch at Spaghetti Warehouse. For more information about the Honors Trip, contact Jay Dennison at 419-562-0003.
