CITY PLANNING COMMISSION — The City of Galion Planning Commission will have a special meeting Monday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers. Jim Grubbs, Superintendent of Galion City Schools, will present the school’s future development plans, which will require a change in zoning. The public is encouraged to attend to ask questions or voice concerns.

GRIEF THERAPY SEMINAR — Snyder Funeral Homes is hosting The Art of Grief Therapy seminar. Two continuing education units will be offered free of charge for LISWs and RNs. This seminar is open to the public and anyone interested in learning a new approach to managing grief. The seminar is Monday, Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to noon. POSITIVE AGING EXPO — The 2017 Positive Aging Expo, sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging is Sept 28 at Fairhaven Hall at the Richland County Fairgrounds in Mansfield. JOB FAIR — Crawford Partnership for Education and Economic Development is sponsoring a Crawford County Job Fair on Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Pickwick Place, 1875 N. Sandusky Ave., in Bucyrus. The job fair is free for job seekers. Bring a resume, meet local employers and explore the career opportunities that are available. Employers will have a chance to meet local job seekers and network with other businesses in the county.
