St. Paul food pantry open Sept. 16

GALION — St. Paul United Methodist Church, 746 Cherry St., Galion, will open its food pantry Sept. 16 at 9 a.m. It is open the third Saturday of each month. This pantry is for Galion residents only. please bring a photo ID and proof of residency (phone, utility bill etc.)

Chicken BBQ at St. Joseph Activity Center on Sept. 19

GALION — The 15th annual Knights of Columbus Chicken Barbecue is Saturday, Sept. 9, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Galion St. Joseph Activity Center, 115 N. Liberty Street. You can dine in, carry-out or pick up dinner through a drive-thru.

‘Art of Grief’ therapy seminar Sept. 25 in Ontario

ONTARIO — Snyder Funeral Homes is hosting The Art of Grief therapy seminar. Two continuing education units will be offered free of charge for LISWs and RNs. This seminar is open to the public and anyone interested in learning a new approach to managing grief. The seminar is Monday, Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to noon. Community meal set Sept. 28 at Trinity Lutheran

GALION — Trinity Lutheran Church, 291 N. Union St., Galion will serve its free community meal from 5-6 p.m. on Sept. 28.

Second Time Around Jewelry Sale is Sept. 30

GALION — Galion Christ United Methodist Church, 130 E. Walnut St., will have its annual Second Time Around Jewelry Sale on Saturday Sept. 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale will include a large selection of gently-used jewelry, handbags and scars and low prices.
