Kylie Redman headed to Otterbein College

GALION —Kylie Redman, who graduated last week from Galion High School, will continue her education and athletic career after at Division III Otterbein College in Westerville after recently signing to be a sprinter and to throw the javelin. Kylie plans to major in exercise science. Otterbein University is in Westerville.

Kristine Pfister graduates from Colgate

HAMILTON, NEW YORK— Kristine Pfister, of Galion, graduated from Colgate University in the Class of 2017. Pfister majored in Art and Art History. A Northmor grad, Pfister received a Bachelor of Arts degree Cum Laude at Colgate’s 196th Commencement.

Macy Winkelfoos graduates from Wittenberg

SPRINGFIELD — Macy Winkelfoos, of Mount Gilead, recently graduated from Wittenberg University.

Graduates announced at Findlay University

FINDLAY — More than 1,100 graduates were recognized May 6 for earning degrees from the University of Findlay. They include: Kayla Edington, of Caledonia with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science; and Joshua Keller, of Galion with a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies. Keller graduated cum laude.

Galionite graduates from Ohio Connections Academy

COLUMBUS — Galion Zachary Taylor is one of more than 300 students who graduated recently with the Ohio Connections Academy Class of 2017. Bellville’s Ashton Henwood also graduated.

Alicia Ditty recognized at University of Findlay

FINDLAY — Alicia Ditty of Galion was recently honored by the University of Findlay during the University’s annual Student Employee Recognition Luncheon. Ditty was named Senior Student Employee of the Year. She was nominated by the Physical Plant office.
