Arts council program includes beer, wine tasting and painting

GALION — The Crawford County Arts Council, with support from the Ohio Arts Council, is presenting “ Colors of an Ohio Fall” on November 11, 12 and 13.

The event kicks off on Friday night with a Wine and Beer Tasting at 1803 Taproom, 123 Harding Way East in Galion, from 7 – 9 p.m. This event will include a short presentation by artist Christopher Leeper and a chance to meet and talk with him .

Saturday and Sunday will be a watercolor workshop with Leeper, held at the Partnership Building, 117 E. Mansfield St. in Bucyrus. Seating is limited for the workshop and advance tickets are required. Participants will will receive a list of supplies to bring.

Tickets can be purchased at the 1803 Taproom, the Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce, 122 W. Rensselaer St,m Bucyrus or by calling Sandy Laipply at 419-562-9825. Ticket prices are: All three events for$60. Two Days Watercolor workshop are $50. Friday night only is $15. Saturday or Sunday only is $30.

This event is part of the Crawford County Arts Council’s mission to encourage and support art forms in Crawford County and gives local residents a chance to take a workshop with a world class artist.
