Lawson selected Student of th Month

NORTH ROBINSON — Owen Lawson is the Colonel Crawford Lions Student of the Month for May. He is a senior and the son of Chris and Beth Lawson. Owen has earned four Academic letters and is a member of Notional Honor Society. He was awarded the John Q. Shunk Scholarship.

Lawson has earned two football letters and is a four-year letterman in track. As a member of the Crawford Little Critters 4-H Club, he has shown goats and rabbits for nine years at the Crawford County Fair.

Some of Owen’s community service activities include cleaning and renovating the rabbit barn at the fairgrounds, working track meets, coaching flag football, and decorating veterans’ graves for Memorial Day. He enjoys camping, riding jet skis and detailing cars.

Owen plans to attend the University of Findlay where he is receiving an academic scholarship. He will major in Forensic Science with a minor in Criminal Justice. He and his parents were guests of the Col. Crawford Lions at their May dinner meeting. Owen received a commemorative certificate and a check for one hundred dollars.
