Eagles baseball ends season against Genoa Area

GENOA — Colonel Crawford fell in a division III sectional final game on Friday against Genoa Area. Genoa Area defended their home field with an 11-0 shut out of the Eagles.

The Eagles had one hit against the Comets. Nick Eachus recorded a single for Colonel Crawford. Parker Ketterman got the start on the mound for Colonel Crawford and went two and two-thirds innings. Ketterman gave up three earned runs, on six hits and two strikeouts.

Carson Feichtner pitched a third of an inning in relief and allowed five earned runs on two hits. Nick Eachus pitched an inning in relief and gave up no runs on two hits.

Colonel Crawford finishes their season 9-15 overall.

Comets will take on Margaretta next week in a district semifinal game. That game will be played on Thursday May, 26 at 2 p.m.
