Celebrating a partnership for good in Galion

The Galion-Crestline Area Chamber of Commerce conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, to celebrate the partnership between the Crawford County Council on Aging and the Galion History Center to provide congregate meals at Historic Grace Church, located at the corner of West Walnut and South Union streets in Galion. Grace Church, which is owned and operated by the Galion History Center, is the new home of congregate meals locally. The church recently hosted bingo and will be the host site for the Council on Aging’s Galion Halloween party on Tuesday, Oct. 26. The party is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. and includes a Ghost Walk at Brownella Cottage, located across the street from Grace Church.
